Same error here on xbox. App was updated and restarted. Code 300031

Restarting xbox now and it says an update is needed for the console

I had the same error but it appeared my Xbox didn’t need an update so I didn’t know what was going on, however, I decided to restart it instead of shut it off and as soon as it rebooted it said there was an update. Update so now it’s downloading and hopefully it fixes the issue

Okay so restarting your xbox and doing the update fixed my problem. I am now 33 minutes in the queue to play. So if anyone has any error messages on your Xbox, just restart your Xbox and an update will pop up and you’ll have to install that and then it’ll work and you’ll be able to log in. Hope this helps everyone!

Restart console, update the console and restart the game. Then go in the queue and make love 2 ur wife while waiting. Maybe twice! :smile:

i had to do these steps cause it wouldn’t prompt download from menu’s:

  1. Restart and shut down the Xbox.

  2. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the console and wait two minutes.

  3. Once the two minutes have passed, plug the power back in and wait for the power
    bricks light to go from white to orange.

  4. When the light switches to orange, reboot the console and try the game again.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve restarted my console, updated the game, tried everything the forums say worked for them and still nothing. Blizzard won’t help unless I’m playing PC they said. But my friends can play on the same console with no issues.
