One shot mechanic's

i understand why they are in there but man i hate those, if you go in to the pit and everything go’s smoothly but the boss at the end is one of those bastard’s whit a one shot ability that you hardly see its frustrating.

If your getting 1 shot review your:

  1. Gear
  2. Paragon boards
  3. Level your doing
  4. Ability

Maybe reduce the pit your doing if you find it to difficult. 61 is the magical level because that gives you top mw mats.

I got to 130 and yes fully geared I could get 1 shot and it was more about positioning your character and learning all combinations of echo powers. Mind you its much easier now with the nerf then it was when it first came out. Its the only challenge left in the game, but pits are boring linear hallways.

Agreed they are annoying. But with how the game is currently its either you almost always 100%hp or 0%. Sure sometimes you get to 80% or 50% and then you are just instantly healed back to full. They want you to learn and understand how each boss attacks, that way you can be prepared to dodge it when it happens.

The higher in the Pit you go the more you will see the One shots. You could have top tier perfect GG gear and still in the end the boss will one shot depending on the tier you are in.

Agree on gear and paragon board for certain. Definitely check your paragon boards for extra health and damage reduction opportunities. And don’t underestimate a GA health affix.

Been seeing far less one shots with higher hp and increased situational DR.

Yep, when my sorc hit lv 100 i stuggled on pit 40, got better gear, fine tuned the board and when from 40 to 80. Nerf came out I went from 80 to 115 with no challenge and 115-130 was somewhat difficult.
