The reason for the abysmal aspect quality is intended, designed to keep you playing and paying.
In todayâs round of âwhy this game is a frustrating kick in the crotchâ Iâm trying to get decent â not perfect, just decent â Ancestral gloves on one of my toons⌠Eventually farmed 3 golden Whisper caches for gloves at T4⌠opened them and 40 legendary item drops later there was one â ONE â stinking ancestral with LPS for the GA. Not even a single ancestral aspect either. A total waste of time and effort. Got a whole paragon point and some gold and mats⌠oh boy! How exciting! Not.
They donât seem to understandâŚyou need ancestral gear to progress and make alts. As it is now you are just farming mats,hell i got 1 bill gold and i donât trade. Its pretty much useless along with the mats if you donât find better gear.

Which could be fine if ancestral dropped higher powers but even on a ga they dontâŚso wait sift(for unique) wait, i get legs have the little symbol, so imo same issue the game has had with item power bracket being meaningless since launch.
Was thinking that since ancestral is GA now that would change but seems it has not.
In EverQuest I go months with no upgrades lol, these seasonal games are so great, do you think you should get every item with max rolls every season? If so how long should it take ya? Itâs a 3 month reset ya can farm more next season right? Is there a reason to get bis in d4? I personally like it how it is now, mythics could be even rarer imo I got like 10 in a few weeks that I played was almost a month.
Iâve got close to 500 hours total time in this season and havenât seen a single mythic drop despite hundreds of Durial/Andariel runs. Iâve got one â ONE â out of several dozen legendary aspects across multiple classes maxed out.
But I play solo so I donât get the hand outs from team members carrying me and I didnât want to play the borked Spiritporn. Playing solo makes the game very different.
Your entire argument is a strawman, and your entire perspective is whatever is happening on your screen during your playtime. Nothing you wrote here is relevant to game design or the aggregate gaming experience.
From my brief time on the PTR finding aspect upgrades will be so much better in season 7. Not that that helps now.
And whatâs funny is you donât need mats if you donât have gear to use it onâŚ
Iâm on the low end of finding mythics, some of my clan members have literal bank tabs full of mythics. Itâs not just me itâs most people I interact with while playing the game. If it wasnât relevant poe2 wouldnât be getting so massive huh? Itâs like a ton of people agree with me huh⌠No depth in a game that I finish my build on day 2 of playing, specially for a live service one

I spent over 150 hours grinding nearly 4000 pit runs to level Paragon 245 to 300, in that time I could not get a single upgrade for the two aspects I use in my gear.

That is BS. I really think there is an algorithm that checks what gear you have equipped and makes sure that doesnât drop. How do you explain not one single upgrade after 2 months and that many pit runs?

There is. Blizzard is using the advancements in AI technology to control RNG. Everything is now designed to force you to always be on, hoping youâll buy cosmetics. The system actively avoids what you need. Fair and Random RNG is a thing of the past. Iâve called them out on this for awhile now. They will never release proof that this is not true, because it is true. They are grimy and dishonest. They will do everything in their power to make an extra buck in the most shady ways that they can.
