While trying to complete Oldstones. I have killed everything on the map twice and have reset the instance just to only be able to collect just enough Animus to not continue… Why is this a thing? Please fix it.

I also had this happen. What seemed to happen for me was that the very first enemy that was supposed to drop Animus, did not.
Same problem here missing 1 animus.

While I appreciate that the team wants to “balance” things, one would think that unplayable parts of the game should be a higher priority. I’ve tried this dungeon three separate days and keep coming up short. Please stop worrying about what class is out playing the other and fix your issues to make the ENTIRE game playable first.

This happened to me too. 2023-06-05.
Same happened to me. 2023-06-05. I restarted the dungeon and it worked fine the second run, however this time I waited a little bit to kill the first elite going into the second phase of the dungeon (animus collecting) because on the first run it didn’t drop the animus (maybe because it was too close to the door? The objective wasn’t updated yet when I killed it).

As far as I can tell, this is the cause of the bug. If you haven’t walked far enough into the dungeon, your objective will not update to “kill animus carriers and collect animus”. However, the first animus carrier can still aggro to you, and you can still kill it, without the objective. If this happens, no animus drops.

6-9-23 same thing here, missing 1 more Animus Carrier to open the door.
+1, walked through the whole area, opened every door, killed every enemy, not enough animus.
