OK Well That was Quite a Patch

The obvious question is why wasn’t this the build we got on Tuesday? I’m actually having fun now. Doing the vaults I was avoiding before etc. If this was what you had in mind we did we have to get so up in arms to get here?

My question is: how can they adjuat so many things in just 3 days and have so few changes in the base 1.3.0 patch after 3 months (aside from balance changes)

congrats that you can acually play the game. Since the start of season 3 i cant even enter the game. Only crashes too this day xD

Vaults are pointless now. Just a different type of nm dungon with more loot at the end.

At this point they could just have removed all the traps and it would have served the same as the patch.

Just opened the chest before the vault ends and got Tempest Rare (sacred) and in the end chest I got a Tempest Roar ancestral lol…

Last season 0 Tempest Roar, now two in one run.

what did they change?

Nightmare Vaults are still superior in terms of loot and monster density.

Yeah but they are the same ugly maps. That part of the season really bites

Because there isn’t a PTR for D4.

That’s the answer to your question, right there. Had there been a PTR for the seasonal mechanics and vaults, these issues would have been caught during development and we wouldn’t have to worry about needing to wait for a hotfix.

But sadly, for whatever reason, D4, unlike D3, doesn’t have a PTR. So the changes go live with the season patch, people provide feedback as we play and Blizzard makes changes as fast as they can where necessary.

feedback = motivation boost xd

Credit where it’s due, big improvement tonight, more loot, better robot, lots of work still need to be done but this what launch should have been on Tuesday, fingers crossed

Did they fix whatever was making our character getting stuck in place after a channel skill or evading?

Logged in just now on my lvl 63 druid. I had already completed the 10 vaults in the season journey. My senechal is now a lot further in progress.
It feels useful. It does enough damage to kill non elites alone.

If they did it wasn’t in the notes so I’m guessing no

I have found over the last decade+ they do not put “embarrassing” bug fixes in their patch notes. Especially WoW.

thats in the 1.3.1 fix for tuesday

Still waiting on Rupture (and now Charge) to be fixed.

I mean seriously they buff the crap out of Charge making it the skill of the season, but you can’t reliably hit bosses with it.

Wut

I’ll be honest, out of principle I’m not playing any more of S3. Otherwise they’ll think this is acceptable, and the cycle will continue to repeat itself each season.

How dare you give me hope! =P

im serious. when they went to post the patch notes yesterday they accidentally posted the 1.3.1 patch notes. rob reviewed them and did a youtube video about them. they then took them off the website and posted the patch notes for the patch last night. the 1.3.1 patch is tuesday
