I know staffs can roll +to all stats, as I currently have a staff with all stats. So I tried to reroll the crit dmg to all stats.
8 TIMES in a row, 1 of the options was ALWAYS +willpower, every. single. time.
out of all the other options that could roll, 1 of the stats was staying the same time and time again, what are the chances??! This also happened a few days ago to another item, I kept enchanting and wasting millions upon millions when 1 of the stats was always the same. Whats going on? Am i missing something? This just doesnt seem like bad luck the chances of this happening seems crazy rare.
I use slowed, idk even though it theoretically could happen, to two different items this same crap happening in the past couple days. somethin doesnt seem right
depending if the stuff is re-rolled from a server list or already pre-generated, sometimes it helps to have some time inbetween the re-rolls. (at least im telling myself that, when i run out of gold to re-roll)
What’s going on is that it’s either very bugged or just intentionally not very random at all. Lots of people have reported this same behaviour, I’ve seen it happen very consistently with many and all items, Wudijo (youtuber) made a video clearly demonstrating it.
I spent at least 100 million on a crossbow trying to roll all stats, (I already had dex) and it just kept rolling “lucky hit: x% chance to execute injured non-elites”, which is so beyond trash it’s hard to believe. For a while I was trying to roll life on a chest, did this across dozens of chests from obol vendor etc. to keep costs in check. They always roll Thorns (another utter trash affix). Didn’t see +life once.
It’s completely busted and on top of that we’re punished for it with outrageous increasing gold costs. I keep trying to draw attention to the problem, but seems like you need to become a game journalist and post on twitter to get any attention.
Past a certain level there is nothing to do but get better gear, 3/4 or even just 2/3 items are already astronomically rare, the enchant system is broken and just trolls and punishes you. It’s literally unplayable and Blizzard hasn’t even acknowledged the issue.
Imo its too much money on top of that we get only 2 f… options!? and it could happen to be the same. Overall enchanting system is disappointing and discouraging…
encouraging to know other people have the issue and are experiencing the same thing. It really seems like certain items are bugged and can only roll specific stats out of the stat pool. And theres no way for us to know or realize this until we’re 5 or 6 rolls deep and keep seeing the same stat pop up over and over and over.
Same here. The crafting “system” seems to be a bland copy of the Diablo3 crafting “system”. It feels really disheartening to see that so much effort went into creating a really pretty and good-feeling game, and then no real design effort was spent into either the skill nor the crafting system. Both are really shallow and uninspired, especially if you look at other ARPGs which do (way) better jobs in both departments (Path of Exile, Grim Dawn, Last Epoch, Chronicon, The Slormancer, even Torchlight iirc and Wolcen LOL)
Wasted right now like 30 souls and 20 millions in 1 minute trying to roll gloves and boots to +3 ranks to bone spear and movement speed respectively, DIDN’T GOT any, not even a low roll of that. And now these two items rolls costs 3 millions each one like what is this system?? And like you say many of those attempts keep showing rolls to the same stat over and over, make you think if is really so rng like they say.
Imo, either enchants are broken or indeed some stats can only roll to specific others, as it already happened in D3.
