OFC Season 7 must be balanced for all classes

It is first season of VoH, starting with tiny progress in storyline, bunch of bugs, server issues, late respond from devs as exactly expected before VoH was released. I guess they just want to let everyone enjoy with new class for first season of VoH, and make them more op than rest, which is fair enough.

I like new class SB but it’s just not fun to have decillion damage, which makes me lose interest to play the game in this season anymore. Everything just dies instantly, and beating T150 is completely pointless, literally everyone can beat T150 with SB like piece of cake with few spending amount of time in the game.

And core problems of this game… I don’t even know where to start first…

Already too many people from this forum, youtube, or any social media doubt Blizzard’s eligibility for live service in a game.

feel free to try the other classes. personally i think they are pretty solid when it comes to balance. (just the druid could use some love i guess)

Ill only play the spiritborn once im done with my 2 other characters, and basically use the OP class for some final laps =)

Don’t keep your hopes up. 6 seasons people have been giving them “another second chance” and they managed to ff it up every single time  always expect the worst because this team will manage to deliver something even worse than that

Don’t worry, season 7 won’t be balanced either with some other class breaking the game. That’s what D4 is, flavor of the season builds.

They are incapable of doing this. Blizzard staff only play each class lightly to test basic function. They have no good understanding to how each skill works

Diablo has no balancing.

Diablo needs no balancing.

With multiplayer only content and PvP there is

Let’s take a look at the history of Diablo 4.

Since the release of the game the playerbase, including streamers, have done everything they could to find the most OP and broken builds they possibly could so they could clear content easier. Every season a new broken interaction with items, bugged skill, or bugged paragon node has been discovered and featured in the new Tier S meta builds. This is the first season the original 5 classes are nearly bug free and are in tune with what is intended.

If anyone is delusional enough to believe all bugged interactions with items, paragon nodes or skills for the spirit born have been discovered in less than 4 weeks when it took nearly 16months for the other classes, I have news for you. When they fix the current metas and bugs they are being used to clear pit 150, the playerbase will adapt and find new ones…just like they have every season. This has been the cat and mouse game for the past 16months. The playerbase finds a new broken toy to play with and the developers clean it up at the end of the season. Spiritborn is going to have a new broken meta every season that outshines older classes…that is just common sense.

The older classes have been fully tested and their kinks have been worked out. Every Class is in the pit 110-125 range which is perfect. For gods sake it wasnt until this season that the Rogue’s Victimize key passive was finally fixed. Yet people actually believe spiritborn is going to be completely fixed and on the level of other classes already…

Spiritborn is going to be on top of the meta until the next expansion and new class is introduced. It will take that long to work out all the bugs. Ofcourse until then blizzard will continue to introduce new items and we know there is always the chance that a new unique is busted and introduces some new ridiculous OP build. Those will be the only times one of the original classes might outshine the spiritborn, but dont expect spiritborn to be weakened anytime soon.

But where is Diablo?

Everybody always asks “Where is Diablo?” but not “How is Diablo?” :sob:

Diablo is feeling like a dog slapped by Ah Banan, that’s clear, but the real question is where exactly is now?

Every SB can beat Pit 150, not everyone can complete them in 3 minutes… There is always a challenge no matter how much is the damage of the class.

I have spent two days just to defeated the T4 version of my Blacksmith Boss, my max HP become 34K as result. There is long road ahead for the class.

Let’s just restate the obvious one more time please. No balance, minimal reward, super grindy, live service, constantly crashing. OP did I leave anything also out that hasn’t already been complained about a million times before you.

Edit: Forgot too much power.

Do not worry.

There will certainly be another bugged build that trivializes the game. Streamers will hear about it from the east, and they will share it with their fans in the west. Within a week 95% of the playerbase will be on that spec, and everyone not on that spec will be playing hard mode.

I get that part of the joy in their own words is to “beat the devs” beating the devs means finding an interaction that let’s you do a good amount more damage/opens up interesting synergies that enable cool builds. It doesn’t mean finding the (hopefully) unintended bug that let’s one class using one skill do thousands of times the damage of the next best thing.

Seriously, they gotta take pride in their game. Letting these outrageous bugged builds go on all season printing gold and reducing the content to bubble wrap is embarassing for a reputable game studio. Literally no other team that expects you to pay for their game lets these kinds of imbalances fly for more than like a week. Stop telling us what to play by virtue of letting one or two specs be so many times more powerful than anything else.

They really needed to make a good impression in the first season of their new expansion. Instead they crapped the bed and rolled around in it all night. People keep saying “seasons normally only last 1-2 weeks” This is an expansion. Not just a season. They added plenty to do. And yet people are “done”.

Oh you havent played spiritborn yet?

I was going to say, the video i linked on the other thread illustratesd the imbalance.

Also everyone who’s defending this mockery of an arpg as its somehow okay because they have been doing it this way for a whole year and a half misses the point that it has been broken for the last year and a half.

Just because they have been doing it this way does not make it a standard to measure by.

Look at best practice / best design concepts apply them to this game and see how bad it falls short.

Industry should always put forth and achieve the gold standard. If you havent recognized that as the yardstick, then you are just rationalizing yourself / deluding yourself that what d4 has been and is currently like is somehow a good spot.

nope, and i dont plan to until im done :stuck_out_tongue:

the spiritborn is op, no need to discuss that really ^^ will get changed soon enough.

No, its not.
It just shows how shallow blizzard is. Instead of trying to intrest players in dlc to an already unfinished game in an early beta phase by releasing new and fun content they just went the easy route and made new class extremly overpowered.

Believing that blizzard is capable of doing anything good to this game is like believing that people can cure cancer by drinking cool aid

Btw i understand the general counterargument is… so what.

Reality is - this is how they do it, they wont change, if you dont like it, why bother complaining, accept it and play or move on and go somewhere else.
