Both beta weekends, the same issue.
At random points, OBS would freeze and the stream would die.
(20 times in total last Saturday during 7 hours of streams)
I then cannot open OBS with the game still running as it would open and freeze instantly.
I have changed from RTX encoding to CPU encoding, turned all settings down on OBS and the game.
The issue still happens.
In 7 years i have never known a game to do this.

I am having the same issue.
I got 2 encoding errors. The first time it said, “encoding overloaded” So I went and updated my graphics drivers, limited my framerate to 140 (since my monitors are set to 140hz) in the game and in the Nvidia settings and I lowered the quality of my stream in the OBS settings.
After I did all of that I tried streaming again. The same thing happened, only I was actually able to stream for 5 hours this time. Then I got to a dungeon with a ton of enemies, and OBS suddenly crashed and said it “encountered an encoding error”.
I did notice that my GPU memory usage got up to 99.9% before it crashed the first time. I am playing in 3840x2160 resolution as well (and streaming in 1080p), but like the OP, I’ve never had this happen with (streaming or playing) any game before.
Last weekend I had overheating issues and my temps went up to 90c, but that seems to be fixed now. Here are my specs if that helps!

GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 3090ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming

Same issue here. My stream crashed more than 5x within 3 hrs.
Not sure if it’s the same for you both, but I also noticed that it usually freezes OBS when I try to alt+tab (was using the default Windowed Fullscreen mode). Though even without OBS, the game seems to lag when alt-tabbing.
Dropped my settings to Medium and limited FPS to 60. Tried doing window capture instead of game capture, limited frame capture in OBS but nothing seemed to work.
//update:
I was finally able to stream after turning off hardware accelerated gpu scheduling. OBS still complained about encoding overload (or something like that) but it didn’t crash!

Same is happening here. The strangest part is I didn’t deal with this last weekend at all but this weekend it seems to be constant disconnects while running dungeons.

Ok so I was testing out some stuff just now. I just turned the texture quality setting in the game from high down to medium, and my GPU memory usage went from 81% down to 46.6%. So, I am pretty sure it is something with the game.
It explains why OBS kept crashing because OBS uses some of that memory while streaming.
I might try to stream again and see if keeping the texture quality settings on medium helps at all.

Same here, EVGA RTX 3080 XC3 ULTRA GAMING
Was there a fix for this yet? I am still getting random OBS crashes.
I am having the same weird issues. OBS freezes one of my webcames freezes. But only while playing Diable IV
Still having this issue.
My CPU, Memory & GPU are all fine, not even close to max or running out
I got 0 issues in-game, but my Streamlabs just dies every like 30 minutes or so, sometimes a bit longer or a bit faster.
It doesn’t crash, it just freezes and I have to manually close it from the task manager.
Tried setting my D4 settings to medium & lower fps, but doesn’t help
I’m having the same issue. It occurred during the beta and again on Day 1 of enabled drops, 6/5/2023.
Game kept running on my end and discord was still working but OBS would crash ending the stream on Twitch. This happened 3 times. 1st session went 1 hr 17 min before crashing, 2nd 4 hrs 27 min, 3rd 21 minutes, and 4th 2 hrs 24 min until I ended stream.

Thanks
Adding myself to the list. OBS will simply stop outputting video to YouTube. The preview window shows my camera and game completely frozen.
