Dear Blizzard people, i understand that in a moment of inspiration someone decided it should be impossible to farm obducite this season….The thing is i just got 13 obducite for a T3 bloodied nm dungeon, maybe you are too much of a genius for someone like me to understand this? …What’s the point? Am I missing something, any tips?

i need moar too… maybe they could hot fix patch obducite to drop how it use to drop in infernal hordes or maybe lower the cost of upgrading so it only costs 10 instead of 200

nevermind the fact that rerolling the masterwork crit was 1 x neathiron last season, now it also requires 200 obducites for some stupid reason?!
I barely farmed enough to fully upgrade maybe 4 of my items, then I gotta pay all this to reroll a MW crit???
This must be some sort of bug, last season by the end of it (level 217 or so) I was sitting on thousands, now I’m 160 or whatever and I didn’t even finish upping all my gear.

Apparently, they want obdicite to be a farming bottleneck to slow progression. I think this was the plan last season too, but people uncovered they hadn’t reduced obdicite on treasure breech and horadric strongroom dungeons.

If the numbers team are good at one thing it is making Diablo 4 feel bad.
This is the second season in a row that multiple Nightmare Dungeon events don’t drop a single obducite. Round that up for the season and it will be nearly half a year that the events in these dungeons are pointless.
To me there’s a difference between ‘focusing on the expansion’ and ‘half a year of neglecting content’.
It is just poor showing.

The obducite solution is so simple it hurts…… take the kill streak thing and use it as a counter for ottocite. We get 1 ostricite per kill and then you add small multipliers to the ostriches we get based on the kill streak tier.

The only good place to farm them is in a rare treasure goblin dungeon. I tried to get a group for it when I got the sigil, but it seems trade chat is not working either, so I did it solo. got like 4k obducite in T2

apparently goblin nmds are good…problem is, regular sigils barely even drop now so you can’t even gamble for them: all the seasonal ones only break down into meat. bah.

On T4 I have been getting
~1000 for horadric strongroom dungeon
~350 for Undercity tributes
~75 for NM dungeons
>20 for bloodied NM dungeon
Haven’t counted for infernal hordes but it’s quite low especially for the time spent. Have yet to see a treasure breach dungeon. Didn’t pay attention for my mythic prankster sigil, was left disappointed due to the lousy drop

I did a vile splendor nm dungeon (oppulent excess is enjoyed here).
They are right. I got 22 obducite at the end. How should i ever spent this huge amount?

The Obducite grind is why this season will be dead before it gets a major patch.
Leveling and getting gear is incredibly fast, then you hit this big stall. When the stall hits, people quit.
