I still have not found a workaround yet for the nvlddmkm.sys error startup with the new Nvdia drivers launched in the past months.
Diablo IV seems to run fine on any patches before May starting up with only resolution trouble.
I was what I believed stuck on 1920 x 1024 screen res. But with some help here in the forums I was able to take the game to 1280 x 720 by changing the display screen. (Hopefully this will be fixed in future patches).
I can maybe partially blame myself on video errors as I have my processor overclocked with a Hurricane fan pointed at the back of my computer. It works.
Every other launch or so I get the startup blue screen crash with the code at the bottom pointing out the nvlddmkm.sys file name.
I have tried deleting, moving the file around, several folder issues to separate it from my computer to see what happens but it must be part of the software either Nvidia’s design per GPU or it could, very possibly be the new Windows 11 patch that was put out to Windows 10 machines. (My computer downloads the new 11 patch but says it can not install it. It is not compatible.)
Any input concerning this file, nvlddmkm.sys, is appreciated.
I hate having to reboot my computer every other time to play.
Other than that I get some rubber banding, char slide, and stuttering while in the towns . So I am thinking latency on that. Maybe cross communications? (Hard To Say). Overtime that crap usually gets straightened out by the labs.
Thanks for your reading.
Fun game Blizzard, I love the in game play with the incredibly fast reactions. Neat to play. Only thing is my eyes can’t follow some of it. I am sure some forum people asked for much crowd fighting in the game. Well they got it.
Cons to the ingame platinum system. I thought that was what Diablo Immortal was for.
D3 adventure, bounty mode is brilliant. Random dungeons is what we used to dream about in the early days of D&D. I hope other games will adopt that.
Thank you.
