Have you tried anything to fix it?
Tryed re instaling the game , tryed repairing the game , traed deleting the graphic card drivers nothing helped still having the same issue .
I even tryed instaling old drivers still nothing helped this started happening since s1 came out and after s2 came it became more often.
Maybe its actually having some hardware issues due to how the game really can put a load on a video card.
D4 is one of those games that can cause some hardware to act up.
I have run very heavy games whit ease including wow bdo and ather game
I was running a 1660 super at launch with 16gb system ram and you could tell the system was running right on the edge of its capabilities. First I bumped the sys ram up to 32gb and could tell a noticeable difference in the studdering when changing zones or entering cities. A bit later I picked up a 4070 at a good price and it has been smooth running on ultra ever since.
I have had a 1660 before. I even had a 2060 AND a 3060.
They can run all kinds of games. But I can tell you from experience they don’t play Diablo IV with ease. Until I picked up a 3070Ti, I doubt I would have been able to run Ultra at a decent frame rate on any of those.
Especially the first two.
So no, it does not run heavy games with ease. What do you consider a heavy game? And how far do you have to dumb down the graphics to get it to play with ease?
Just saying. Its like comparing a cavalier from the 90s to a corvette from 2015… If I had a 4090, then you’re talking Bugatti or something. lol
The 16xx generation only had what, two card models? And no RTX ability.
So what is it? Experience or just guessing?

A 1660 Super can handle D4 perfectly fine in 1080P.
What texture setting are you using?
Also, have you checked the temperatures of your GPU while playing?
Gtx 1660 super can handle the game perfectly, also im not running the game on ultra settings.
Was playing black desert on ultra before that and the game was running smooth and u cant compare the graphics between the two games .
Everything is running smoothly until randomly an error pop and crushes the game it can happened after 5 min of playing and also after 2h its completely random .
I have the same card. It ran fine until this last patch and then began rubber banding and screen freezing. Like I said it wasn’t until this patch that it all started.
Wierd , i dont have ruber bending and dont have freezing but i do recive a random graphic eror that shuts my game down
But after the last patch its a complete nightmare
In your case, it may be due to the issues that many are having with the later nvidia drivers.
Going back to a driver from August seems to correct the problem for now.
There may still be an issue that the game and card don’t like. D4 might be triggering it, whatever it is.
I would say, if you had another card to test with, do that. But that’s probably unlikely.
I get it that other games haven’t had issues. And its very easy to just say its all Blizzard’s fault.
And I wont argue that since the recent patches, many have had issues.
Yeah, I remember. As I recall, there were adjustments that helped that to run better, right? lol
Well not really performance improvements but they fixed the VRAM running full after a while and also made ultra textures playable with 8GB cards.
Any dev can reply?
Im lost here , why is the game crusing randomly?
I went back to the previous driver before posting but I still get the same results.
