Nvidia driver update

Hello all,

Nvidia updated their graphic driver recently to version 531.41. This update includes some performance improvement for Diablo IV : “This new Game Ready Driver provides the best day-0 gaming experience for the latest new games including the open beta for Diablo IV featuring NVIDIA DLSS 2 technology.”.

For all those who have memory leak issues with DIV, you should definitively try those drivers and check if it solves your issues.

Thanks for the post! I just downloaded them. I have a 1080Ti and was having all kinds of frame issues.

If all they added was DLSS support, then it won’t matter for people like me who don’t have a card that has that feature available, even though the 1660ti does have some tensor cores…

Hopefully translated means “This new Game Ready Driver will ensure your PC wont melt down while attacking worgs.”

Thank you for the information, the high latency annoyed me.

Downloading it now, thanks for the heads up.

DLSS options were already available in the Early Access last weekend.

“Quality” setting looked very nice BTW.

Thanks for the heads up. I was getting a strange stutter on a high end system, hoping this will fix it.

Exactly how I feel about it. Until I know it does more than just help newer gen cards I am going to stay clear I think until the game actually release.

Hmm, I’m gonna reserve the right that if it aint broke, im not gonna try fixing it.

Running a RTX 2070 with a slightly dated driver, but experiencing no problems.

Was connected and playing for many hours on end without any issues with high graphics settings.

Thanks, OP. Bump for visibility.

I have the same card and just downloaded the driver myself. I was experiencing some frame issues as well at times but usually only when in town.

Boom! Was waiting for this. Thanks. This is why I only buy Nvidia cards. They are quick with updates on instances of large game releases.

Sorry you had issues friend, ran great on my 3080 and 5600x through all 3 maxed characters.

Well as long as I kept textures on medium lol, high res textures was eating up like 9-16gb ram for me lol. First time I’ve seen my 32gb ram get above 81% lol.

But yeah it was bluescreening before I changed to medium textures/messed with page file. Somethings definitely wrong though with how it handles the high res textures.

Also the thing about people’s 3000 series gpus burning out happened in another game, was due to menu not being capped on frames or maybe cinematic and some of the 3000 series had a fault where it wouldn’t turnoff when it got too hot and just burnt out due to the fps just going to the moon. Dunno if it’s the same but I saw in patch notes they did something to cinematic fps cap.

I wanna know what it is about that chapel cutscene that’s made everyone’s pcs have a near aneurysm. I thought my tower was getting ready for launch at the NASA pad and I think I saw 2 seconds of the actual cinematic :joy:

I know it was crashing me hard every time until I messed with page file or changed textures to medium… Not sure which. There’s definitely something wrong with the high res textures though.

Other than that I didn’t really have any issues though other than paths being randomly blocked and stuff not spawning in.

If you mean the gpus blowing up, it’s usually because there’s no frame rate cap and some of the 3000 series cards have a fault where it doesn’t shut down if it gets to a certain threshold and keeps going and eventually blows up. It’s a nvidia issue but kinda just takes one game to set it off lol. I thought they fixed it though, I guess a lot of people don’t update gpu firmware however.

I didnt have any issues. I was just making a joke. My card ran fine cuz I cap FPS at 150 in the control panel so mine ran cool all week, no issues.

No,
The issue seems to be with Gigabyte cards, other manufacturers’ products were fine.

Gigabyte is known for shoddy workmanship.

both my husband and I had to go out an get new systems because graphic cards wasn’t big enough for the game to be played, but all good now. The systems that we had to get in order to play the game had to be 3060 or higher, but like I said all good now.
