NPCS and lack of names

so, my thing here is why do the Important npcs like the blacksmith and Jewler not have indicators over their heads? like it’s so hard to find the npc in town that is actually the vendor or the actually black smith. You figured they would at least have names over their heads. it’s the little things like this we need in the game to start improving it. also, another thing when I’m in the map of diablo9 4 and I press W to go into the renowned to claim a reward why can I not press W again to exit the renown menu? these things are so bad for quality of life and gameplay and should be fixed almost immediately

they use symbols and the symbols are pretty straight forward. blacksmith is the anvil

On the minimap yes. When you are in front of them, no. Unless I just missed it which is possible.

if you click on the wp it shows the services available in that area, also all capital cities have all services

I don’t think you’re understanding what he’s talking about. Sometimes there are multiple NPCs together whether they are vendors or just filler characters in the town. For example, in several cities the jeweler and the vendor that sells the jewelry are typically right next to each other. I mistakenly click on the vendor when I meant to go to the jeweler. Why? Because i’m trying to be super quick about it before going to my next dungeon and in small letters it will tell you they are the jeweler. The OP wants an icon above their head to make it easier to differentiate instead of hovering over each NPC making sure you’re going to click the right one. That’s all. Yea the map is perfectly fine but when you cluster them all in one area, it’s easy to click the wrong one when you’re being quick about it. Not a major issue but I could see improvements.

thank you I was just looking at this a little while ago and was baffled how people missed the whole point. but thanks for clearing that up I was just going to leave it and let it sit there.
