So while standing in front of the blacksmith in Kyovashad my CPU usage is 20% and my GPU usage is 67%. When I talk to the blacksmight and the menus open my cpu goes up to 27% and my GPU shoots up to 90%.
Why is the blacksmight menu 50% more GPU intenstive when 2/3 of the screen is being covered with non animated real-estate? Ive never seen a game do that, it should be the complete opposite and all pc resources should go down ( thus increased FPS in game ) when the game foreground is covered up by something.
I walk right over to the stash nearby him and it does the same exact thing … going from 20% CPU usage and 67% GPU usage to 27% and 90%.
Just being out in the snowy world puts less of a stress on my computer than when I decide to open the inventory to check loot in the same exact spot. It’s weird, and it’s concerning, because my fans all speed up when they had been relatively unnoticeable the whole time before it.
