Blight Aspect is nerf from x120% damage to 50% damage.
Shadowblight itself doesn’t do much damage, just around 11k (once at a time after hitting 10 times) in Endgame content which bosses has billion trillion zillion HP. You should have changed “Blight Aspect” to increase only Shadow damage x120%.
Wither is now capped at 1,200 INT when average necro players have around 1,800+ INT.
You nerf Hellbent Commander and compensate by “Minions can do Overpower”. Well, can you explain a guaranteed Overpower mechanic for minions?
Do you know builds that rely on OP must understand the guaranteed Overpower mechanic. They don’t just rely on 3% chance.
The values are questionable for shure. The intention is obvious. Will this be 100% be implemeted this way into the live verson? No, we are allready giveing feedback, even without testing it. Math is math, the Blighted nerf seems to be big, they should buff it back to atleast 100%, even more so that now darkness damage can’t bouble dip. They did compensate a little bit, whit needing less stacks on SB, and doubled it’s damage. But then the cap to INT on Wither, I don’t feel it was neccessary.
Hellbent is the one I’m not exactly mad about, you don’t have to choose between to be close to either your warriors or mages, it’s just up all the time when you have 7 or more minions.
I don’t think the OP change was to compensate HB nerf, but I don’t realy know how it will work out. Maybe they will get 100% OP when you do? Needs testing for shure.
All in all, I think it’s better to test everything before getting upset.
I guess if they are coming after necromancers next, I’ll just give up trying to make it work…someone on here recommended blight builds and that’s what I respect for…silly me!
Hopefully they leave rogue alone, I just respec’d it too with a build I looked up.
Knew this was going to happen, Minion necro a middle of the road class without holy bolts. But just like LB it is taking a DOUBLE nerf because of it.
Minion necro can still push higher pits. But it can not run ANY fast. Most good builds run pits in under 90 secs. A minion necro could never do that because there is no tele stomp so minions always slow to kill if you have to move.
Btw Necro one of my top 3 most hated diablo classes so this is pure objectivity here.
-Several streamers/Diablo partners have submitted to them that they are basically nerfing the already weakest builds of necro. They are getting this feedback NOW and ALSO they will get this feedback from from PTR. Keep in mind that PTR patch notes are NOT the same as season 5 patch notes.
I get your concerns and obviously, no harm in bringing them up now. They are also hearing these things from other sources, fortunately.
*Sorry about the people assuming you’re off your rocker and comparing it to crayons etc just cos they have no clue about the maths.
Exactly. They are trying to shift meta and forces Bone Spirit playstyle.
Whether its viable is another story. If they introduce minions to OP, at least introduce more consistent guaranteed OP mechanics for minions.
Its the direction of builds are heading. End of s4 PTR balanced build performances, but the build viability remained same. Likewise for s5 and nearly a decade of D3 PTR precedents. While its still preliminary, players are entitled to their concerns.
You can also chill, we weren’t calling out OP we were calling out the devs, OP also took part so they understood. Some of you people take so many thing too seriously.
Not sure what I could possibly say here. I saw people turning their thought into a joke because they though it THAT silly. I have engaged with that sort of thing myself. I get that you want to pretend it was something innocent. Okay. Noted.
