Not sure if this is a bug - enchanting

I had a crappy 4 greater affix item and for fun, i ‘enchanted’ it (re-rolled one of the greater affixes) - since I didnt pick a new option (i said keep the original value) it reverted the greater to a normal

thats what happens, you cannot roll a GA affix

you can, the game lets you.

But it doesnt “restore” the greater if you dont pick a new selection. aka select “keep”

Actually, I thought that you could but it was very rare.
But yeah, a current GA does not guarantee another GA roll.

you can check at the enchantment tab at the occultist what affixes are available for each item you are rolling

If you reroll a GA stat it reverts back to normal

Definitely not a bug, devs even mentioned this during a live stream a few months back. Basically telling us if you decide to ‘keep’ the GA affix instead it will revert back to normal, so be careful. Sucks you had to learn the hard way.

it was a trash item and i was just trying to see if that was really the case.
