No sound after crash - Logitech G560 issue?

Good morning,

Edit Update: fond that my generic USB speakers get sound. Returning to desktop default, still no sound. Speaker are Logitech G560

Had no issues last night besides a few crashes until I reached Kyovashed (?). The game had a weird crash after talking to the quest at the horse. When I started the game again, there was no sound. I then tried these steps:

  • Checked sound settings, sound is enabled.
  • Checked sound devices, default and multiple listed. Tried them all.
  • Reset sound settings to default, still issue
  • Restarted computer and checked sound settings again, still issue.
  • Repaired client, no issue found.
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled, still issue.
  • Tested D2R, sound works fine.
  • Searched forums, didnt find this same issue.
  • Edit: Updated drivers released 5/30. Still issue.
  • Edit Update: Got USB headphones to work
  • Update G560 software, still no sound in D4 (everything else fine)
  • Update 6/17: still not working with suggested fixes. all other sound works while playing D4 (eg, streams etc), just not D4.
  • Also tried deleting the local D4 preference file and had the game recreate.

Any help would be appreciated!

Got the same problem, went to sleep and logged back in after i woke up and i can’t hear anything in game anymore.

Updated as I try to troubleshoot this myself. Hoping new info might spark knowledge from others.

Bookmarking this. I have glitchy, laggy, static sound with my G733 , But regular wired (Samsung phone) headphones or just speakers work normal!

Do one thing perhaps you can get you usb sound device back

use an bluetooth speaker connect your computer,you will find you usb device in the sound list,then choose it,but,evertime star this game,you should do this again…

I may be misunderstanding, but I could not get this solution to work. Thanks for the suggestion though.
