Based on the amount of whineing about this, there is no way they are not going to add a paladin or crusader in the expansion.
That sentence makes zero sense.

I look for it to be a Necro from D3 thing , a separate purchase UNLESS Blizz surprises everyone and it’s already in and they kept it quiet.
That could be a good possibility.
That would be sick all the Karen’s would be lighting up the forum. But not going to happen.
Dataminers would have found it.

necro was the leftover of the unfinished 2nd xpac of D3. once Morhiem realized it wasn’t a live service game (meaning no more money after initial purchase), they stopped working on the next xpac, told them to finish up the necro and the few new areas and ship it for a tiny DLC price.
so lets hope something like this doesn’t happen. it likely won’t since they live-serviced D4 just a tad bit at this point lol.

You put too much stock in dataminers my friend , they can add things very last minute.
Im only asking because I think I know the answer but as there is no Enigma and unlimited Teleport in D4 so why does everyone want a sword and board class ( Paladin) in this game. I get it was OP for D2 but its not going to be half as good without the elusive Enimga. How many poeple played Frenzy, Smite, Shield Bash builds other than Pkers really, if they didnt have ENigma and Hammers they were trash Imo. I do admit the Smiter Version was required for some Uber Action but even then the Werewolf was as good or the Assassin. I miss my throw barb from D2 - D4 is trying to bring it back but nothing like the OG D2 Throwbarb builds I played, its more of a gimped half throwing build - not even sure I want to try it after reading about it…

All the Paladins fell alongside Kurast and the Sakarum, so it’s lore accurate.
they still come back next expansion 
As Crusaders, Penitent Knights or Templars perhaps, but not as Paladins.

The story after VoH campaing could open up the return of the crusaders potentialy in a future season. Or they wait untill the next expac, where we will probably travel to Khanduras, where Westmarch is. And we know Westmarch was funded by Paladins, and became their HQ on the western continent. Now the question is, how many survived the onslought by Malthael on the city.
That’s very possible as well. I do think that by season 7 we will get one.
What really gets me is that they’ve added 2 new classes to D:I , Blood Knight and Tempest , but haven’t added those into D4. 
D:I must be printing money.
I wouldn’t hold my breath for it.
