Tyrael took 20 years to reform after destroying the World Stone, I assume that after 50 years after his defeat in the Pandemonium Malthael is having a debriefing with Imperius.
Well if their essence returned to the crystal arch, they will be reformed as a fully different angel. No memories of their past “life” and even get a whole new personality.
