And it really won’t work without PS Plus?
Even if I want to play solo? Someone said it will work so I still don’t know 
For example I read that Division works without PS plus too and it’s b2p on-line game, not f2p
Wait wait… ps+ is required?! Uhh… wasnt required during beta… And if this is required. Yeah im canceling my order. I may get ps+ once in a blue moon and thats it. So… wheres the clarification on this!?
It is required. All multiplayer games except for f2p games requires ps+. Nothing blizzard can do about this at this point really since yes this game is a multiplayer only game. I’d suggest canceling your preorder yeah.

LOL yeah no. I play plenty. genshin doesnt require it either it’s online only… and has stuff to buy. can have multiplayer, and has purchases.
So no. im not gonna be forced to pay for ps+ just to play this game. I’ll be canceling my order later this week.
Genshin impact is a f2p game….
Literally stated it doesn’t work that way with f2p games. This is a Sony policy. Not something related to blizzard.

But division 1 and 2 are on-line only too, both b2p (not f2p Games) and they works without PS plus too … (i didn’t played it, but I read that manytimes)
Edited up there. it has same crap as diablo4 has. Can co op. its online only. has purchasable items, can play with others online. Same as genshin.
We shouldnt have to pay to play, after spending 70 bucks to buy it.

Try google “does division 2 require ps+” and see what comes up.
Anyway Ps+ is required for multiplayer access in video games on PlayStation unless they are f2p. No need to repeat myself further as anyone who owns a PlayStation should be aware of this already.
I dont know why this is a shock been Playstation policy since ps4 came out what 10 years ago. so nothing blizzard can do, same thing on Xbox you have to have minimum games for gold subscription to play online games unless they are f2p. If you really want to pay up the wazzoo try FF14, you get to pay for ps+, the game and expansions, plus 12 dollar game sub.

I’m gonna laugh pretty hard this weekend when you have more 2-5 hour queues. Same thing for the first week of release. Same thing the first time there is a major patch. Same thing when they release a new season.

Yeah I admit, I was wrong on this bit. I just havent had + in forever. and havent played d3 with people for longer. So… eh.
But this is a full online game only… no offline play. >…< Kinda wonder… why having a physical disc… is of any importance… bleh…

Yeah, they said “in solo mode” but it IS on-line only game too. It has no offline/SP mode and still works without PS plus
… so why is everybody so sure that you cannot play D4 without it (like only solo, without grouping etc.)
Diablo 4 does not have a offline mode at all.
I never mentioned anything about disks.
I currently do not have to have a ps+ sub to play d3.
FF14 can be played without PS+ (it’s on official website) and Division 1 and 2 can be played without PS+ too… all these games are ALWAYS ONLINE and NOT F2P and still works without PS Plus.
So why is everyone so sure that D4 will need PS Plus?
Because FF14 requires a subscription to play. Ubisoft and Sony came to an agreement to only have the subscription so people didn’t have to pay twice. (subscription and ps+) Division 1 and 2 are 100% online, but you still require ps+ if you do anything multiplayer/co-op related.
This game is always online and there is no way to “turn off” the multiplayer part of it so unless Blizzard and Sony come to some agreement like Ubisoft and Sony, You will require a ps+.

Note: A Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus subscription will not be required to play Diablo IV during the Open Beta and Early Access weekends in most regions. In Germany, a PlayStation Plus subscription will be required due to ratings requirements. Once Diablo IV launches, a Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus subscription will be required to access some of the game’s multiplayer features.

I’d be waiting until there’s clarification on this before buying PS+ or Xbox Live Gold. To me this sounds like you will only need it if you’re playing with others online.
