I know this is pretty typical of Blizzard forums, but considering the state of things, why do we never see the “community manager” guy from the TED talks post anything here?
Why are there literally no responses from a blue poster anywhere?

He (or she, or whatever, i dont know) is busy answering hand-picked questions on twitter/reddit
have you herd legend of Tseric
Yeah, I’m not trying to add that kind of toxicity into this guy’s life, but it would go a long way to see a simple. “I see this thing you’re talking about and I am forwarding it to the team.” Like, just anything.
That is none of your business
Tweet and get paid horribly, tbh.
Community Managers are usually carrying marketing degrees. They’re the ones in charge of sorting through all the feedback and telling the developers the problems we’re complaining about and then communicating the devs’ response back to us. If there is a response I guess.
The community manager is none of the community’s business? Okay, guy.
because any community manager would get sick having to deal with a forum like this.
It’s hard not to respond to all those forum posts, so he is paid to do just that.
It’s a sinecure position. They do little to no work most days. It’s a nice gig if you can get it.
You can personally ask him over at twitter. Because thats where they “communicate”.
Guy was too sensitive for the job he was doing. No offense to him, but you need a thicker skin and sense of humor to be a forum moderator. And you need to know better than to get into a personal back and forth with trolls.
The WoW forums were far from the most toxic forums anyway, this isn’t something awful or 4chan or something where there’s real trolling going on. Moderating here is rookie level stuff.
