Pls stop doing seasons its boring like diablo 3. Just let us play main character in seasons and add 10 maybe 20lvls cap for each season. There is no point to create all time assasin each season and delete him after to create new. I hope n future devs get idea to create new system in d4.

Its a looter. The point is to get loot and pewpew. If you don’t want to relevel I hear you can pick an eternal character and just grind out w/e loot they add in the future

The problem isn’t seasons themselves. The problem is that the core game is in such a bad spot, yet it seems like all their dev time is being put towards temporary content like seasons and limited time events. Seasons shouldn’t necessarily be discontinued. They should be put on temporary hiatus though until they can get the core game fixed. Then bring them back.

The developers said in some of the very first interviews 4 years ago that D4 would be built around seasons.
The eternal realm is for people who don’t want to play seasons.

Yup just do it. I Play eternal only cause I dont like seasons. Do I Play all the time? No. Does it feel good to Play it for a while from time to time after a break? Yeah.

absolutely healthy way to tackle any game really. I mean i personally dont understand why one would play eternal, but heck, i dont have to

Why did my post get removed? All I said was quit making us PTR the seasons because the streamers are always happy to PTR them.

I think you are confusing a looter shooter with ARPG. Now while the point with ARPG’s is kill monsters get loot it’s also about the difference between whether said monster is designed to kill player to get good loot or player kill armies of said monsters to get subpar loot.
Two very different styles of Action Role Playing Games. the first one is Diablo and Diablo 2’s way, lets call that Classic Dungeon Crawler, the second is the Modern Action Role Playing Game that came from Diablo III.
Instead of realizing this is not your type of gameplay, y’all come in here asking for it to be removed, yeah that ain’t gonna happen young Timmy
Go play WoW, if you want to keep progressing your toon.
Seasons are a specific type of gameplay that is core to D4, removing seasons cancels the game.

Not confusing anything. Just dumbed it down. Diablo was built off jumping into action and blowing up monsters. Its not complex. Pretty sure Im well aware of what a diablo style arpg is. D3? Lmao. Most of us true arpgers don’t talk about D3 and now diablo 4
My point to the OP was all your grinding for at some point is loot. You don’t need season mechanics to do that. The loot is added into eternal realm.
I also find it funny they are willing to grind an additional 20 levels every 3 months but doesn’t want to level again

This contradicts this:
What you want is the ability to bring over your level 100 maxed out character to a seasonal realm. Also I find it hilarious you want 10-20 levels added to the cap every time. If that were the case we would be at level 130-160 right now. Yet the item level of gear wouldn’t change, nor would the levels of NMD.
You’d have better luck making your own game right now, or applying to Blizzard, but I don’t see either of those happening.
