No thanks. If you add one or more of those FOR FREE, I will try it out. I WILL NOT pay any money to play one of those iconic classes that should’ve already been included in this game.
Crusader, didnt come out til reaper of souls.
Monk was a D3 class yes. D3 started with 5 classes.
Druid and Assassin didnt come out til LoD.
diablo 4 starts with 5 classes.
You act like this is a new concept… Theres already a leaked holy class. Which will prolly come out next year or so. We’ll prolly eventually get more than 1 class in future. But sure. go ahead and save your money. just stop whining because 1 thing isnt there. And move along. They arent gonna add more classes at launch.

So add the class later - but don’t charge me for it. They’re going to spend a ton of resources maintaining the game with regular new content, it’s not going to be much more to add a new class for free.
I love the Diablo series, and I want to play. I also have a preferred way of playing the game, which the previous two iterations of the game had at launch. So excuse me for voicing my concerns.
It’s most likely going to be an expansion. just like diablo 2 and 3… so they charged for a total of 3 classes in the past. it’s 90% gonna be the same for diablo 4.
Hell they even charged for necromancer when it came out. 15 bucks. So that makes 4 classes you had to pay for. It’s not going to change anytime soon im pretty damn sure of that.
And this how i explained is HOW they did each iteration at launch.
I apologize for saying whining. Day made me a lil moody. But with how you went with the “No thanks blah blah” really did sound whiny and like an ultimatium… which blizz doesnt care about anyways.

Ya that did sound whiny - I wanted a catch line, didn’t hit the way I thought. I’m reading more up on the game and there’s some other features I’m not excited about, so it will be a wait and see how it goes in live for me.
Yeah theres some I’m not happy with too… but still tolerable. My three main gripes atm. is respect cost/unable to reset paragon… (apparently this one can be respecced now) having to salvage… to gain transmog…Cant even extract to gain trans… its a stupid system. and the god damn stash’s… I want d3 style wheel for pack and chest.
And no mass sale of items by type… theres a mass salvage…
But yeah the characters are gonna be released just like in past. May get some free ones, but doubt it 99%.
They did add some nice systems though. After you complete main campaign once. you have option to 100% skip the intro levels. and i guess start out in first town at that quest.

Thats like saying modded WoW and modded d2 is proper. Also apparently they brought a bard class to hellfire O.O must looksy!
There just a lot of “crap on blizzard” in the forums… well pretty much all forums. If people are content they normally dont hang out on the forums. I mean some the complaints are getting a little ridiculous.
We already have leaks that the next class is going to be a holy class. So we know its coming. I agree it comes off kinda petty saying “im not playing because x class isnt in game”. When D3 came out and we got witch doctor and not a Necromancer i was disappointed but not enough to boycot the game… then we didnt have a leak showing the next class.

This I can agree with. I’m… 85% content with d4. Yes I call blizzard out for their bull. Both about game and their real life people. Some people arent really… haters too. I mean OP is actually a decent person…
Oh believe me. I feel ya. D2 Necromancer was my main, main. (Granted I did all classes.) So was disappointed that he wasnt a staple for d3 from get go. But… they wanted to try something differnt, thats understandable. WD monk and demon hunter really made up for it. The amount of builds you could make was fun AF.
Loved all my builds for them… Bell build melted faces. Multishot melted. piranado munched everything. and other builds of theres were viable too. that sprint monk build… forget name. Natylas trap build, shadow impale build where the skill could hit for millions. Fun times.
I’ be happy with DLC classes if expansions expanded the skill trees.

Yeah well expansions will bring 1 or 2 characters with them im sure of that. so you have to pay for the expansion to get new character… and whos not gonna buy actual expansions? And this game is supposed to be an ongoing game. unlike d2 and d3.
Sorry that your favorite classes are not in the game at launch. I know that I would be sad if my favorite class type wasnt in at launch too. Likely new classes will cost extra though, either as a store purchase by itself or through expansions but I doubt new classes will be free unfortunately. But hey, maybe they surprise us?

There won’t be any new classes this year even.
Besides that, Blizzard has got enough difficulty balancing the classes we already have.
