I have a sorc, I really dont want to be casting spells with my barb too. I just want to be a tanky boy who smashes, chops, spins around with my weapons. Am I shooting myself in the foot by abstaining from dust devils this season?
I’m not using dust devil. I’m going with Leapquake. I still need to to put together a Rupture spam build.
Go with the dust devil build first. Just to see the merits it has. You can compare how well different build perform against dust devil.

You should check Bash build, from maxroll guide or rob’s videos.
It’s a new build since it’s viable now thanks to new tempered stuff : makes Bash skill cleave with big damage boost.
Seems to be tanky, fun, and one of top builds for pit ! I’m collecting stuff to make my transition from dust devil WW to this !

Is Damage to Close better than DWB? While Blood Rage got capped, DWB is still multiplicative. Probably better off with Bash, Kick, Iron Skin, Charge, GS, and WoTB. Ancestral Charge, Thorns, and Ground Stomp is more than enough to mark Paingorgers. GS can further lower ULT. Leap is better for Fury Gen. Don’t need Shouts.
Ramas with Edgemasters and taking tons of Max Fury is a big investment. Don’t see Numbing Wrath which is needed for Bossing since Bosses cannot be Stunned. My build is a little different since this is one of the few builds where it is easy to drop Shouts since Berserk and Fury Gen are not issues.
My leapquake has been broken by a pause between leaps even when the cooldown resets and bugs with Giant Strides…doesn’t seem like leapquake will work if they don’t fix those…I’m bummed been enjoying leapquake since launch
Yeah I just found out now as well. Guess we wait a month until the next patch hits. Hopefully, it gets fixed. Ancestral Echos has a internal cooldown. Forgot about that part. 10 second cooldown for the Echo isn’t ideal. Gonna see what I can do with it for the time being. Even if I have to run around waiting for cooldown.
