meaningless grind , bring voices dialogs to bosses, dungeons , make the game more interactive rather then just killing pushy sponges , no stay awhile and listen its just empty game no action at all and still the end game its just broken pvp on the end of the day not mentioning the shako exploit ahh
Omg so totally agreed! should also implement doors in every dungeon, because extra required clicks in the middle of combat are so much fun!
and new paragon point prompts should take up half the screen too!
If you dont like meaningless grind and gameplay in terms of actually killing monsters and push your build, this game might not be for you.
If you want to listen to interactions and not be in the action, go play some Telltales games…
Empty game? Not really though.
No action? I guess not if you just walk around in town all your playtime.
Shako exploit got fixed within hours, i wish they were that fast on all bugs/exploits but some take more time than others, all in all, they fix them just a matter of when.
doors are already there i think u haven’t played dungeons for a while , dodgy corners in every map , where u evade and hit the corner of some little entrance , metamorphose getting u flying and stuck in to the walls , the only catchy voice/sound that I’ve had from all gameplay is i think it was komdor temple where some voice in background says something with el diablos , or when u go in town and hear the rest of npcs
dont worry im not a training room type of a player lol , shako exploit where sorcerer enchantments are working without skill point still not repaired and used everywhere
People really don’t understand the nuance of a good door opening sequence and the joy it brings!
In some games… I just sit there and
Open the door,
Close the door,
Open the door,
Close the door,
Open the door,
Close the door,
Open the door,
Close the door…
Sooo satisfying!
The lead developers are not interested in RPG elements, at all. They openly described D4 as a “game of efficiency”, which means everything you described goes against that philosophy.
Btw, I fully agree with you.
The original resident evil was just like this, even had it’s own cinematic to fool you into thinking it wasn’t loading a new area each time.
peak of the gaming (casual point of view)
barb keep holding one button to clear the content
sorc / necro = smashing buttons with some rotations at least
rogue / druid = smashing buttons like a piano and it works
the good vibe and feelings were only in campaign and after its like the book is finished no more surprises
thanks to god we don’t see any more content on youtube where d4 dev dies in wt1 dungeon , but still even from the new dlc contents from all the content creators , flashy eye catching designs still no “stay awhile and listen” vibe
Love when blizz says they listen on forum from s2 time soo many people were asking for dialogs in uber bosses at least still nothing
Could not have said it better myself. Despite what goes around in the forums, reddit, and whatnot, I believe this is a major reason why this game is just not good. It just fails in being a game.
I had the same feeling. The campaign is the highlight of the experience. After that, there’s very little of entertainment value to be had. Even for those of us that enjoy the grind.
