Yesterday, I was on the 6th wave of a 10 wave horde, and boom, D4 crashed. Today, I was on the last council member of a 10 wave horde, and boom, crashed. I had 800+ aether when it crashed. I feel as if there should at least be some sort of in game compensation for these crashes that are STILL occuring since VoH was released. At this point, I feel like I’m just spinning my wheels and not getting anywhere with all of these crashes. The most challenging thing about D4 now isn’t the game itself. It’s actually just attempting to finish whatever you’re doing before it crashes again.

You probably don’t want to hear this, but Blizzard typically doesn’t give out any compensation what so ever unless a service of theirs is down for a considerable amount of time. When they do give compensation it’s very minuscule to the point where people ask why even bother?

You can still comeback to your horde after a crash.
What do you want exactly? A website where you prove you crashed and there give you 10 cents every time.
How do you come back to a horde after a crash??? When the game crashes, that horde is gone.
You don’t. It sucks but there is no real cost but a few minutes of your time so they are not likely to ever compensate you.
I’ve had the big where you get to the very end kill the bosses and the chests don’t spawn and you can even port out. You just have to exit out of the game to get out of it. It happens with games we just have to live with it or stop playing if it’s too much to handle.
Do you have a problem with the crashing or do you blame the players?

Unless its over it’s not gone. you get re-invited in the grp and TP on someone and back you are in that same horde.
My guy you are dreaming in color. Every game crashes.

I’m not playing in a group, so if the game crashes, I lose all the progress. Every game crashes??? I’ve NEVER had a game crash as much as Diablo 4 has since VoH was released.

Ya if you do horde alone that sucks in case of a disconnect.
But then again, how could they compensate you? What a funny idea.
I used to crash when I would TP in town in S1, S2, S3, S4…and now it disappeared so I agree with you that the programming on D4 is not on par with previous titles. There was much less crash with D2 and D3.
I just want the Aether that I gained back so that I can get what I want from the chests at the end of the Horde. Either that, or just give me Obducite and Gold. I think 2500 Obducite, and $5 million gold would be fair.

True they could make a fail-disc-proof solution so you don’t lose everything; it would make sense

you actually got a free basic crashed recovery and rollback sequences on a live service game to protect your data, are you still not grateful? 
I do have a problem with crashing, I was just giving out realistic expectations for the OP, Blizzard doesn’t give out compensation for crashes, they never have. Hell they don’t give out compensation when they know they disconnected everyone from the server either. Remember the time they had to update the shop during a live update, and it reset the servers real quick? Had some angry HC players that day.
But not like this… I can play 8-10 hours straight in other games without issue. I’m lucky if I can get a solid hour in D4. It’s gotten to the point I use the elixirs as timers… when it wears off I look for a good spot to quit and relog.
And it wasn’t as bad in S5 as it is in S6. When they added VOH the quality dropped; not just a little but a lot.

This is just another reason why people shouldn’t play HC (or) at least be extra careful about it. @ OP I am truly sorry for what happened to you. Similar thing happened to me a few times.
