Nightmare sigil tooltip: Tell me if I've done the dungeon before or not?

Specifically when trying to complete renown in various regions, it would be helpful just from looking at a nightmare dungeon (sigil) description if I have done it before (for the renown) or not. Even just like a green check or red X next to the dungeon name would be helpful.

Sigils where I’ve already completed the dungeon can be lesser priority and can be better for salvage when trying to complete renown.

On the map, dungeons you have completed on that realm/account have an orange dot next to them. A checkmark means you did it for the first time that session. An orange dot means you’ve done it, period. No dot means you’ve done it before AND did it that session. From what I’ve seen at least.

So I have to look at each sigil I have, then find it on the map to see if I’ve done it or not? Its kind of a pain to do that and I was suggesting an easier way

Edit: I may not have been clear, I meant the sigil tooltip specifically and not the dungeon on the map

I mean… yeah, if it really matters that much to you.

Thing is there’s a limited rotation of nightmare sigils so you’re eventually going to do them all anyway (there’s 30 per season I think), and if you want to do all the dungeons you haven’t done you’ll have to do a lot of them on normal or wait for a season when they are in the rotation.

Oh ok I see, I thought there was an option for any dungeon to become nightmare. Thanks for the info

You can also use this website:

https: //d4builds. gg/map/

(remove spaces)

It’s an interactive map that has everything on it, and it saves your progress so you can just look at it and see what you have and haven’t done. It has different options for eternal, seasonal, and hardcore realms as well so you can track your progress separately for each.

Sigils should allow you to choose a dungeon when you create them.

Why not? Because Blizzard knows the dungeons aren’t balanced.

Because people will be picking the easiest dungeon with the most mob density and just run that over an over and over (well tbh people are already doing this). Defeating the entire purpose of a nightmare dungeon.
