So, I’ve hated NM dungeons before this event, and now i want to grind them. I think adding a reputation system for events in NM dungeons would be a great way to feel like I’m not just getting obd. I mean, its a bit more per hour than hordes, but hordes drop obd, gems, GA gear and tributes… so its a no brainer to just junk sigils.
Reputation systems are probably not a perfect solution, but it would create the 2 things at once vibe and not have the ‘loot rain’ solution.

It wouldn’t do the trick for me, I’m gonna be honest.
I may be alone on this but I would prefer to see a vault system on this one. Obducites, loot and glyphs upgrade at the end, it may create an alternative to pits and a better way to gain mats.
Imho dungeons are dated, they need a rework and they already achieved that in S3. The only good thing that season had.

Doors…hate them. Doors should be explodable. Only doors that should need to be opened are those that require a task to do so. D3 was so much better in this regard where you could just smash through them. I particularly hate the ones that pause and then open slowly. Completely breaks the immersion.

Adding in rep to get more items is a good idea! Something that gives us the 2 for 1 makes it feel like we are accomplishing more. I like the reputation with a glyph leveling or a choice of cache would be cool.
Personally , I want another way to level glyphs so reverting glyphs back to experience and putting a certain amount of glyph exp at the end (equal to pit 65 maybe or pit 75 with the affix) would be awesome.
I wish I could just choose a region. All my NMDs would be in Nahantu where there are simply no doors.
Nightmare Dungeons should be ‘nightmarish’. The butcher sure, but also more danger. Random encounters like ladder bosses just appearing, portals that lead to god knows where, treasure goblins that attack with blood curdling screams instead of running away.
I want to open a nightmare dungeon and have to take a deep breath and crack my knuckles before porting in.

Indeed, introducing some variety and randomness would go a long way. And proper rewards for such mechanics so it doesn’t feel like a waste of time.

Each zone has a different icon, if you only do/keep the green ones those are all Nahantu.
I know but I only want those to drop. I guess I don’t want the other 83% at all.
