No offence and i speak in my name when i say from the bottom of my heart.I hate doing side quests! That s why i join a dungeon to kill mobs and get xp on it and loot.I go into dungeon for a different experience and kill many many mobs. Not to have less mobs and have to run through the entire f… dungeon for some stone just to put it on a statue so i can go to the other side of the dungeon to take the other objective that i need to open a f… door which leads me to another side quest to kill an entire chamber of mobs(which by the way some are hidden or some are one in a part of the room and the other in the other part of the room).By the time i finish a dungeon i dont want to do another bcs i know there will be more side quests to be done.I bought diablo 4 looking for a new good experience. If i wanted to do quests and side quests till max level,i go to other games, i already bought WoW Dragonflight. When i heard u released diablo 4 i expecting more than doing campaing, and after campaing side quests, and after side quests to do another set of side quests into dungeons to get to lvl 100.This is my opinion and that s why i stopped playing.I hope they resolve this into season 1.If u got other opinion please tell me so i can understand your point of view.
I agree they can be very tedious but if you can pinpoint a couple like Guulhran Canals and Blind Burrows for example, theyre a bit more streamlined.
I really do want the objectives to be gone and the bar brought back which you fill by just destroying monsters.
Honestly sounds like you need to play (or came from) Diablo 3. 0 thought needed. Just equip a set, and hold a button as loot rains for you from one of the games expansive end game content selections; including:
- Greater Rifts.
That, that’s it. If you want ~ANY~ advancement in D3, it’s GRs. At least D4 has multiple end game things to do. No, they aren’t perfect, but they’re better than GR after GR after GR to fulfill some impotent power fantasy.
I understand and i am not contesting its a good game. But its frustrating for me to see this.Yes i come from diablo 3 but i want that experience. That made me buy diablo 4.And i got dissapointed…
I dont expect loot to come easy, i am used to farming. But i expect a dungeon to be more about killing stuff or manage to survive, not to run through entire dungeon for objectives and finish the Nightmare dungeon without killing almost nothing.
Honestly man, D4 isn’t the game for you. D4 is closer to D2. D3 was a game that made a lot of us long time players lose faith in the franchise. D4 isn’t golden, but even at release, it’s more palatable that D3 was on release.
This just possibly isn’t the ARPG for you. But, there are plenty out there. Torchlight 3, Last Epoch, Lost Ark, PoE (With PoE2 coming next year apparently). Those are in some ways closer to the ez mode ARPG that D3 had.
