im level 60 now got alittle bored of grinding renown side quests decided to do a “Nightmare! Dungeon” was surprised it was 6 levels under me , i thought this was the end game? and it doesnt scale doesnt seem to matter what i do to get a sigil its always tier 1 always level 54.
cant find where to raise the tier figured youd get back the sigil+ 1 level after running it but they seem to be burnt going in.
so how do i raise these ones to a proper tier? or find ones of the right level
Craft them at the same place you imprint
Occultist can help you create higher sigils for dungeons. I noticed the same thing like doing a tier 1 was literally level 54 mobs after me and i was 66. Started doing to 10’s 15’s and been normal. Problem I have now is Im picking up more than i can use XD

did you complete the capaign ? and complete your first capstone dungeon ?
You have to complete a lvl 3 NM dungeon before you can craft sigils, I had to do 4-5 lvl ones before 2s and 3s started dropping.
here is some info if it helps at all. if i get any of this wrong somebody please correct me.
the level of monsters in the nightmare dungeon is 50 + world tier + nightmare sigil level. so if yer in world tier 3 and you start a nightmare dungeon 1 it will be
50 + 3 + 1 = 54 monster level
once you complete a nightmare 3 dungeon, the crafting part of the nightmare sigils will open up. it will be a quest marker in main town, same place as imprints etc. basically once you get to higher levels you are comfortable say nightmare 5, you can start breaking down nightmare 1,2,3, and 4 sigils and then craft nightmare 5s.
as far as i can tell it is always best to do the highest nightmare you can handle because you will get the most exp for your paragon glyphs.

Thanks all…I’ve done the campaign and am in T3…the sigils I have are only 1 or 2 though…there a way to bump those up?
Unfortunately you are reliant on sigil drops until you are able to find a lvl 3 and finish it.

As someone else said, you need to do a level 3 Nightmare before you can start crafting.
I had one drop for me (I got a base 2 from a base 1, then a base 3 dropped from the 2). Took me 4-5 runs to get that.
Alternatively you can group with someone else who has access to higher tier nightmares and run a dungeon or two with them. You’re pretty much guaranteed to get a higher tier nightmare drop.
ok ive run 3 i think , but i still only have tier 1 sigils , crafting still greyed out, not sure how to go about getting other than tier 1 to drop if i cant craft them.
anyone know what activity might drop them?
The drops are higher in the nm dungeons. Just keep doing them until it gives you lvl 3.
