I want to ask a simple question to you all. Those who play WOW will understand this better.
On WOW we have Dungeon IO which is a point rank where each dungeon + timer count points.
Do you think this could work on D4?
Each season we have a few dungeon rotations, and you can run them from lvl 1 - 100. Should they implement a ladder based on the average rank for each dungeon? and also improve Nightmare dungeon to lvl 200 or something crazy.
Second question: Based on what i said above, Each dungeon buff/debuff should award different points?
I get the feeling when the leaderboards do come out for Season 3 it will be based on the level of the NM dungeons completed. Wouldn’t make any sense to base it off anything else at the moment. Now they may increase the cap of NM dungeons but I feel we would need a bit more power before that.
I can see Overall Solo, Class Solo, and then group leaderboards, split up into 2, 3 and 4 players for the group ones.
“Points” wouldn’t even apply, it would be about fastest time. So while you may have some people able to beat a level 100 NM dungeon, only the person who has done it the fastest will be #1 on the list.

yea, i think thats why ladders arent here yet, cause they arent quite sure how to sort them exactly. just listing nmds to 100 after x time in a season or clear time (if thats even a thing, considering there are not timers in d4) is kind of boring.

Agreed, just basing it off of how Diablo 3 is currently done. Leaderboards in D3 are based off of highest Grift completed in the shortest amount of time. D2 Ladder is even more boring to me anyway, getting to 99 is definitely a feat in and of itself in that game but the leaderboards and the process itself is extremely boring.

While I think there will definitely be NMd tier based ladders per class, I’d also like to see level based ladders.
e.g.
Lowest level solo/group clear the capstone dungeons.
Lowest level solo/group kill uber lilith
Lowest level solo/group clear NMd 100
etc…
Additionally I think a leaderboard for # of individual uniques/ubers collected in a season would be interesting, for drama purposes more than anything else.
