S6 is a literal meme at this point.
Class balance and a non-RMT AH should be front and center.
Disable all trading outside of the AH.
But allow people to gift over the AH, like giving old non account bound gear to a friend.
This would require a mail system tho.

The idea is to have the AH be the arbiter of all things tradable.
You submit an entry into the AH and it takes that item and places it in limbo. You only get that item back if you cancel the listing.
By disabling trading outside the AH you prevent gold sellers from selling gold.
