New vulnerability / exploit making rounds 🤡

I don’t know how people are doing it but I’m assuming it has something to do with stashes loading for other players. A Storm Wolf druid was running around in Fields of Hatred earlier and making the entire zone basically lag out / disconnect. We tried to group up but couldn’t do anything to him because we would all just lag out the second we tried to fight him and come back to dead characters a few moments later. Made the entire zone unplayable for several hours.

Wait, so you’re saying there is actual PvP activity happening?

What OP is talking about isn’t PvP because the player being killed isn’t there. It’s Player vs Dead Internet Connection.

Don’t worry it will be fixed in s3
probably

It’s called first strike…err…I mean first stash tab load advantage. If I can get you to load the cache data after i’ve already loaded yours when I finally appear, then I’ll be able to attack with impunity while server is backlogged.

Half joking, half serious.

And maybe thats further complicated if someone is mid Eternal → Seasonal realm exploit? Like the game doesnt even know what to load, or is loading even more than it should?

Side note: Stashs, apparently relevent in PvP lol

that sounds really fun !
i’m glad to see yet another hilarious fail from Blizzard.
Enjoy

Ha, least this game is only still in its alpha. They got plenty of time to fix and patch this before release.

It’s pvp they said it’s going to be unfair if you don’t like how it goes then stay out of that area!

Old bug.
I recommend disabling cross-platform play in such situations.
It usually helps because you get into a different server.

Imagine having your tongue glued so firmly to the bottom of blizzards boots that you think this is an appropriate rationalization for network manipulation occurring in a games singular competitive zone.

Fields of Hatred is a lagfest, it’s probably because of all the player loot in the inventory stashes and on top of that the fields spawn enemy more than anything else imo so there’s way more trash collecting on the floor on top of blood shards and ears
