they talked about the bugs?
It’s just about the seasonal powers and the massive disappointment called the armory.
I smell another cookbook in the works…
Any word on fixes on all the broken gems and powers?
Yet again the season is taking a massive hit on reputation because so much doesnt work. This is not acceptable for a company making 1B and counting on this product to have so much not work, another dupe exploit, powers that had to be disabled, ect.
They should fix the game instead of losing time making videos…
I’m not entirely sure you know how marketing works, or how little it affects development of the game. This isn’t in defense of Blizzard mind you, but rather pointing out the fact that correlation does not equal causation. Both people depicted in the video are a Community Manager and an Associate Influencer Relationship Manager. They relay information back to the developers, but otherwise have no hand in helping with bug fixes.
Would be like me demanding you should be cooking my burger, when you’re outside of the restaurant holding an advertising sign.
Lol, ok, the situation at their HQ must be dire. I expected something new. They announced these things on the mid-season stream in S6, then again two weeks ago, and now again… Trying to milk the last few players before this season collapse.
The video is fine but why wasnt this released a couple days before season to build hype? Now they release it? We have all played it for a week. This video is telling us what we already know.
Trying to catch seasonal players starting late or who were on the fence?
Honestly was curious why this didn’t appear earlier.
That was my thoughts. This is the type of video you release BEFORE the season launches. Not a week after.
Cookbook? Shivera’s Cookin’ with Diablo???
Isnt the video like 2 weeks late?
Spill the tea please. (I haven’t even used it yet.)
Armory works fine. It’s not super polished, but it does the job.
Does it switch out socketables no problem?
For seasonal, it shouldn’t be an issue. It’s more an eternal problem. The gear for each build is stored in your existing stash. Not a problem if you only play one class. But stash space is a premium already. Adding a feature that relies on it is a bit of an issue.
Just gear. So if you removed gems, you’ll have to manually do it unless you have duplicate socketables.
Yeah, so stash problem, not an armory problem. Lack of stash is certainly known.
Not everyone starts the season one minute after launch and has it finished in the first week.
New people come to the forum who never read the blogs or watch the campfire chats.
Ah, half-cooked then (if I understood correctly). D3 functionality for 8 years now, I think…
I’m assuming they’ll enable it in future patches, and if they do, it makes me wonder what prevented them from including it on release. The systems dev in the last campfire made it sound like they’ve been working on Armory for ages.
Someone needs to write a book on the technical struggles, I’d read it.
