If you mean for necro, the ring is for summoner, corpse explosion, and/or corpse tendrils.

No, whoever summons the Varshan, like eggs… but others can get the drop
Ah, sorry. I don’t think it was specified, probably potentially drops for anyone in the group - just like how anyone in a group can get an uber from Duriel.

YA, they didn’t specify, my guess is the same…
Be aware the drop rate is low. “Mother’s Embrace” is part of that drop pool and I’ve been getting too many of those.

I’m wondering if the info is right here. I got 2 rings on my sorc but no unique rings at all on my necro so not sure Varshan is the guy for that. Not gonna use the rest of my mats until I get confirmation.
New rings drop for everyone, just farm him more. Currently in a group with 2 other people we all got rings.
damn i picked a boring build i guess 
as stormclaw druid i only needed a staff of crone and got it early from echo of vashran. no more fun for me. no duriel farm no ring farm nothing. dont even need living steel lol

Did about 25 with someone else, he got his on the 3rd run, mine on the 24th.
I was always the one putting mats and he got his first, so no, it doesn’t drop only for the one summing the boss. It drops for all in the party.
Second run and drop for my Necro. Drop rate is bigger than duriel Unique. I made around 70+ runs for duriel and still nothing.

Got mines on my second atmept.
21 runs on varshan got me 2 rings so far.
2nd for my Tal and im done with that boss lol
I got it from world boss, instant 925 from the first world boss i did.
But it’s useless for druid, so meh.
Seems they can drop anywhere. Got the Tal Rasha’s Iridescent Loop (Sorcerer Unique Ring) in a Blood Harvest zone from a random mob.
