I wanted to put a new thread with a link to it, to make sure it gets attention. This is the first thing that has made sense with all I have been following.

Another addition, it seems to me that perhaps folder naming/location may affect this as well? My copy of the game in all 3 machines is the same. I custom store my game installs in folders labeled Blizzard Games, at the root of whatever drive they are on. Not sure if that has any bearing on this either, but to date, I have not had a problem, and this file exists in my Diablo IV as well and is un altered. But this potential fix/workaround is worth a shot.
