New PC Crash (Fenris) appears to be specific to RTX 30XX series graphics cards

Reading through more than a half dozen or so threads here and on reddit it appears the new PC crash that is occuring after the patch 06/27/2023 shares a fair number of common users running the game on RTX 3070, 3080, and 3090 hardware.

For what it’s worth my latest “Fenris” report: BA2047F2-09DC-4F66-A658-294D9687F1C1

You replied on my post earlier, leaving a comment here for visibility. Same issue, though on Titan Xp (GTX 10XX generation).

4070 ti same problem

4080 here. Was totally fine until yesterday’s patch.

Asus ROG 3080ti with the same problem.

I had these same style of crashes in the first beta but they were fixed in the second beta when they added the “Limit Cutscene FPS” option. I disabled this option when the game fully released only to start having crashes again. Enabled it again and had 0 crashes until this new patch came out. Now it’s back to crashing whether that option is enabled or disabled; makes no difference.

3xxx Series is not the issue. I have a 4090 and I’m crashing frequently.

i have aswell a 3070 ti i had all kinds of crashes upon digging in forums i found that removing a OC on your CPU if u have one will potentially solve the issue i have removed my OC and have been playing for a few hours with no crash hope this helps

1080…RANDOM WORDS BECAUSE 20 characters limit

RTX 2060 super here, same problem

3080 here but happening to all series, 10, 20, 30, 40. It’s a joke

It’s all series. I’m on a 2070 super and the game went from 0 crashes to maybe an hour or so at first, to now literally like every 10 / 20 minutes since the patch. It’s like it crashes faster each subsequent time, as initially I got a good few hours play… now I genuinely can’t go more than 20 mins

4080 here but I’ve seen people with AMD cards complaining too.

Idk what the point of this post is. You have no way to know this. And it’s happening on my 7900XT.

3070 here and with the same issue

Not true. I have a GTX 1080 and I crash a lot sinds most recent patch. Never crashed before.

It is 100% NOT specific to anything, other than poor optimization, that has repeatedly been made worse by hotfix’s and patches.

Pretty much every conceivable combination of CPU/GPU has been affected that falls withing the Minimum to Recommended system requirements.
