On PC, you can hover over your armor value, which is shown on the left side of your character model when you open the inventory.
This shows you actual percentage of damage that is mitigated by your current Armor value. On console you cannot hover over it and you have no way of knowing what is the % of damage mitigated.
No idea why this info is not shown when you hover over Armor in Stats & Materials section?
I will keep reposting this until it’s acknowledged.

you have to go into the options tab, go to… game play?.. i think… and find the option to turn on ADVANCE TOOL TIP INFO and turn on both options. It even shows you wtf you’ll miss out on if you switch items lol… its a blessing and a curse cuz i hate seeing red text lmao.

Also when you’ve turned the options on, make sure you push triangle or whatever button to COMPARE is for you so you’ll see it every time.
I appreciate you bumping the thread, but that’s not at all what I’m talking about

omg…im sorry… I guess i read it wrong.
On Xbox, you open the character pane and then press “Left stick (click)”. At that point it opens all the stats in detail for your character and shows the percentages.
One caveat though…when you scroll down to armor it doesn’t change to show your armor value. It always shows the same percentage on mine since level 1 even as my armor contribution amounts have changed.
Is this the area you are referring to or are you referring to the character lane where it shows
Attack Power
Armor
Life
?
Either way your post still stands because even in the detailed stats screen my percentage hasn’t changed.
I m refering to second thing, just when you open invenotry. On the left you see Attack, Armor, Life.
On PC, if you hover over Armor value there, it shows how much damage your current Armor mitigates.
The percentage you mention in the beginning of your post is something entirely different, it is how much your armor value is included into your elemental resistances, and it’s 50% by default.
It would be nice to have all the info available to PC on console. They can see more information than we can.

Bump, this is a huge disadvantage to console players.
On console you have to highlight the armor stat to show you the actual numbers….
Open character tab, click left stick, scroll down to armor and it will show you the info on your armor, and where the number is derived from
It doesn’t show actual mitigation info, which is what this whole thread is about. But there’s always at least one super smart individual that comes in with this reply…

I noticed this recently while playing on controller with laptop hooked to big tv. It annoyed me enough to go back to mouse n keyboard laptop.
Can the one eyed hamster charged with monitoring console bug subforums actually advise the dev team to fix the day 1 issue presented here, thanks.

Yeah… Full armor calculation pop-up not reachable in console UI.
This was highlighted as an important indicator in last dev stream. But this information is only reachable with a mouse UI. This is still the case with Advanced tooltip compare+ Advanved tooltip information enabled.
How to reproduce on PC with mouse and controller.
- Open the character screen.
- Use the mouse to hover over Armor (notice the 2nd point of info and its number)
- Use the controller to navigate to the Stats and material flyout
- Go down to the Defensive section
- Look for the information of 2.'s 2nd point of info
What I expected: To be able to view the current procentage of armor mitigation as well as view the max armor mitigation procentage.
What I see: Only the max armor mitigation procentage is available. I have no way of seeing the current procentage of armor mitigation.

Also on xbox attack speed is not a value shown anywhere.

They sort of fixed it by redesigning it to show the number needed for max. reduction from level 100+ monsters and make that info available to both the armor :onHover: as well as the the full Stats & Materials flyout. And just when I complained about it. If I had only waited a day…
would be great if we could use the second joycon for those mouse over affects…and also to override the direction of a skill, or aim on gear on ground instead auto aim a monster
cant understand we cant use the 2nd joycon
