New patch notes are up... 5/14

  • Fixed an issue where Belial’s Eye Beams Modifier Boss Power didn’t consistently apply Overpower. The bonus now lasts for 2 seconds after entering stealth.*

What does this mean? It’s supposed to make your next attack overpower? It doesn’t say that in the description.

Some reason, patch notes is still showing patches from March? How did you get May?

Not seeing it, still seeing March. The op post have May yes, that’s weird.

Use the link I just posted if you do not see the official one.

Look at the modifier.

Wow, RoA still didn’t get fixed. Nvm, going back to bed then.

Fixed an issue where a big chunk of players sadly had left the game :joy:

Yesterday evening I had to do the helltides by myself in T1, solo, no one was there, pretty sad.

That’s the one I mean. It says you deal 30% increased overpower damage while stealthed it doesn’t say it applies overpower in the tool tip. Is it a current bug that it doesn’t always apply 30% to overpower while in stealth?

Auto correct tells me stealthed isn’t a word. Blizzard should have called it while in stealth. grammar police are coming for you Blizzard.

They’re going to need a looooot of balance changes going forward to boost basically every build up because right now they created a gulf between top tier and decent builds.

The entire game, while not ideal was developed with a certain difficulty in mind and it was enough to let mid builds do well. Now though, if you don’t play S tier don’t even think about bosses. All you’re going to be able to do is Helltides and Whispers.

What a freaking mess lol.

100% Blizzard like only useless buff not worth anything

An absolute messy toilet and if that is the early season balance tweaks they promised they have refused to call the plumber. They are just going to continue to poo and pee in the toilet while it overflows onto the floor.

Sick people. How can they live like this?

But seriously. A gigantic change like this to difficulty has to be accompanied by highly aggressive patches. A lot of abilities are massive under performing now, locking funsies (but functional) builds completely out of not just T4 but also a lot of T3 content.

We need to give every under performing ability the Poison Trap treatment with +40% dmg and whatnot.

They promised balance changes early in the season. The 14th will be over 2 weeks into an 8 week season. That’s pretty gosh damn it early while at the same time any longer becomes midway into the season.

Fail Blizzard. Fail.

To be fair it’s expensive to push out patches on xbox and ps. So I understand and it’s why they can’t do crazy ideas like this. They have to think things through because of certification.

In the next 3-5 weeks PTR for S9 will start, cause start of S9 should be first of July. So I don’t expect big changes coming anymore, except some hotfixes for bugs.

@patch notes good to see I can use Spectral Ash now for Reputation and Shocking Impact fixed? Have to see if it’s good for some Speed Builds now.

When 100% of the damage calculations are done server side they don’t have to push out anything in the client to make changes. That’s supposed to be one of the benefits of having everything done on the server. The only changes for the client are UI values. And they could push those kind of changes out with a small patch if they designed the code to allow for it.

So, no, I’m not buying the excuse that this is expensive for them. It’s only expensive because they failing to do their job properly.
