New Patch (June 27th)

There is a new patch to download.
Go to your Battle.net client and click on “Check for Updates” to start it unless it has done it automatically.

There are no patch notes out for it yet, though.

EDIT:
The Patch Notes have been posted.

I downloaded the update. Still freezes. For 4 days I have not been able to get on.

Oof.
That removes some of the hope I have for my crashing issues being fixed.
Sorry to hear that it, still, isn’t working for you.

I hope that todays update will fix this.3 1/2 hours wait time. If it doesn’t I have know choice in finding another game. I will miss diablo. Not my fault.

Can’t even download the patch.
The D4 launcher is waiting for finishing other updates. There are no other updates.

That sucks!

I had that issue during the final beta weekend, I believe it was. That or early access.
I think it just resolved itself eventually after a while.

I never had issues with the game crashing before the latest 6-27 patch but now the game constantly crashes after about 10-15 min of gameplay. :-1:

Yeah… This patch did nothing to fix any of the crashing issues.
That sucks, I actually had high hopes that this patch would fix it or at the very least, somehow improve it.

Same. I can’t d/l the patch or the hi res assets. not sure wtf is going on it just tells me my game is up to date, and errors out if i try to d/l the hi res stuff.

You may have already done this, but, just to be sure–have you tried logging out and exiting the Battle.net client completely?

same - this is happening to me all of a sudden - no matter what settings i run - high - low - no vpn - vpn - nothing else running except diablo - turned off my computer for an hour came back same thing - scan & repair - still crashing. Patch broke the game for some of us.

I want my money back. This has been ridiculous and for $70! We enable these companies to keep stealing from us

  1. If you tried updating and it says its waiting for another update, Logout and exit the Battlenet launcher.

  2. On your desktop, right click the Battlenet launcher and click “Run as administrator”. Click “Yes” when prompt shows up. (This step doesnt work on the Diablo IV desktop shortcut)

  3. Click “Update” on Diablo 4 game

Hopefully this works for you guys.

@Psyclon and @Flinkee

Try this out if you haven’t gotten it to update yet.

Crashed 3 times for me while in town all less than an hour.

Really? That’s bad.
Did you usually crash before this patch?

The crashing is significantly worse now. It’s basically unplayable for a lot of people.
