New Glyph ninja nerf

They released new glyph where a lvl would be .1 increase then ninja nerfed it to .02 increase with the estimated time of 350+ hours to even get it to lvl 50, this gotta be a mistake

Yeah no idea why they bothered to advertise level 200 glyph… who is going to spend 20 hours a day for the next 5 weeks just to get there?

Probably the same crowed of people that grinds for 6 months just to go 66-67 in black desert.

This is so ridiculous and senseless of the Blizzard D4 Team! Not to mention barely any player will be able to enjoy getting close to level 200 in less than 5 weeks! It’s absolute BS when the Devs ruin the game further with nerfs and bugs like this in the game. While season 2 was off to a good start, this is just awful! I finally made it to level 100 and completed all achievements, got rewards for the season. There is nothing but repetitive grind and now this BS that only lasts for less than 5 weeks lol. What a joke!

To mass nerf players hard work to level up glyphs after releasing a hard BS dungeon that is nothing more than a repetitive BS grind, it goes to show how the Blizzard D4 Team don’t have their act together with Diablo IV. How can they keep messing the game up like this!!!? This is awful and totally screwed up on Blizzard’s part, big time!!

This is another reason why I wont waste my time playing Diablo IV until the next season. I hope Blizzard continues to really improve the game, (D4), because so far it’s nothing more than a repetitive, boring grind for lousy gear to no rewards… and the season will be over next month. It’s a total waste of game play and time for any player. It seems Blizzard doesn’t know how to make D4 fun, epic and rewarding! The game is still broken and buggy, and instead of making sure it works properly and players are rewarded for their time and effort, we all get screwed again with another mass nerf in D4 by Blizzard! This is just wrong!

I just hope season 3 is a lot better and far more improved, and Blizzard learns from their ongoing mistakes that should NOT be happening in Diablo IV! These BS bugs and nerfs are NOT acceptable!!! Get it together, BLIZZARD TEAM! - JJ -

What we had on stream was a .1% and it was additive, but we launched it with multiplicative and thus the value was changed. Hope this helps clear up any confusion!

Thanks for the update - I was confused at first but this makes sense.

Why would you show it as additive and then release as multiplicative?
That clears nothing up and actually adds to the confusion.
How about showing the values for both additive and multiplicative and then discuss why you altered it?

Damn, Blizz sucks at math.

Hi,

what I still don’t understand:
On steam last week I think it was 0.4%.
Yesterday, when AoZ started it was 0.1% and now it is 0.02%.

This kills all fun players are having.
From 2% starting to 3% you need 49 levels, which nobody will ever be able to achieve.

Yesterday, it was only taking 10 level ups, which is achievable…

Well then the math doesn’t add up, for me the glyph says i get 101,1x increase, which means i’m dealing double the damage when its equipped, I did a simple test and it works that way, basic attacks double the damage while equipped and do the half while u equipped, that for my set up where I have 33 times the base value at lvl 13 said aprox 3.3x per five core if it was 0.1 per lvl, but is not even that, its something like 3.06x which is also not stated, if it where 2,24x per 5 core, i should be getting 73,9x which is also not happening, the main thing here is that none of numbers are actually working as they are being stated nor make sense with the player experience.

This is just bad as to make things work in any arpg numbers must be true and nothing works here, this kind of things just kill the will to play at least for me.

Now, if the real increase its going to be 0.02x per lvl if it ever gets fixed, let us know so we know when to stop playing hours for 0.1x increases.

Nah they said on the stream the additive icon was wrong they didn’t say the .1 was wrong

Blizzard fail at math? That’s unpossible!

Remember kids: 1000 x 40% = 1040 and 1000 x 1.2 x 1.2 = 1400

You said on stream that the additive damage was wrong, but didn’t mention that the .1 was wrong. This is a sneaky way to “fix” the issue without actually fixing it. That’s slimy. And the amount of time needed to level the glyph for next to no power increase is not even remotely worth it. Once again the stinginess of the D4 dev team ruins a feature

Are you sure you guys didn’t tell us that it was going to be multiplicative and then proceed to show us to a number value? How could I not interpret this is as shady?

It is very slimy indeed in my opinion; I agree with you.

You know I would still be upset if it was an 80% nerf to the glyph but you trying to sweep it under the rug like it was going to be this way all along based on what was presented is what’s pushing me to feel extremely dissatisfied. Could you just tell the truth please and say “we decided to nerf the glyph’s rate of damage increase by 80% because we thought Rob would actually beat our tier 25 if we left it as it was” - but in all seriousness this is not okay.

Beta tested by players then set the way you want to play it?
