I’m going simply pick it up where I left off with my level 40ish character to complete the new campaign quests (no side quests) and put the game back on the shelf again after I down the last boss.
And I’ll probably be satisfied with the experience.

As long as Blizzard receives your CC # they really do not care how people play the game.

and there is absolutely no problem with that
- people should do what ever they want with their money
- people should stop caring about other’s opinion on their own money

Entertainment is subjective. There is no wrong or right way to your enjoyment.

Nice, d4 is best enjoyed while logged off anyways.
Most important is you have fun.
If that’s what floats your boat then why would anyone care? Play the game however you find fun.
I’m still trying to decide whether to do just the expansion or start a new character (for season) and play full campaign and expansion.
It will be interesting to see how it looks with the expansion and season 6 running at the same time.
