New day new patch

Are you planing to stop patching every other day? I have 1h to play here and there and i waste half of that time on patching the game…its anoying

Find more hours to play then.
You’re not the only person, who wants to play and the game needs patches.

i agree, but don’t you think its sloppy work when they patch the game they fix 2 thing and break 3 so they have to patch it again and again every 2 days. If they spent less money on crappy promotion and more on people who actually make the game, maybe they would be able to afford proper programmers who wouldn’t break the game in new and innovative way every time they launch patch.

I am still waiting for Megan Fox skin for my sorc…

I mean the game is broken right now. In a perfect world it would all be fixed or wouldnt have shipped broken in the first place…
But a lot of people can barely play game because of game breaking issues.

Likely reality is that patches and hotfixes will be the norm for the foreseeable future.

if you need 30 minutes out of an hour of your play time for patches id actually consider if online games are the way to go or if you might need a better internet provider plan.

i mean really. are we blaming blizzard for patches now?

I’m not blaming them for patching, im blaming them for not being competent to launch new patch without braking something new every 2 days. Im also blaming us, gamers, for allowing new norm to be releasing unfinished games and than patching them into oblivion next month, until they become playable some time into future. We should boycott mediocrity not defend it.

No idea about steam patches but bnet is downloading notoriously slow tho, esp if you catch the peak time

best of luck on your crusade. im sure youll get a hell lot of people to follow your course.
Id advice other platforms tho. the d4 forums are a rather small part of the community

no idea why thats the case for some to be honest. i think i changed my bnet settings to unlimited download.

the 2.0.3 patch took me roughly 5 minutes. But yea, i know some people here report that they download stuff at like 20 kb/s.

This was one fast for me too but usually (in any other game) a 10-20g patch will be downloaded while I take a quick poop but sometimes it’s like 20kb/sec and only on bnet…

hah, everyone poops when stuff needs to be patched - thats time efficiency
did you check your bnet download settings - also, arent you downloading other things in the background?

that being said, im for sure not tech expert guy ^^ i just know what i need to pay attention to on my rig ^^

I mean OP is not wrong…should have never released in this state.

Put a holographic sticker on the side of your rig. Then when you move your head side to side you’ll see cool effects. Thats all you need to pay attention to :stuck_out_tongue:

This is true however I have bad news. Even after all these patches the game still has immediate need of patches. multiple issues addressed in the patch just today aren’t even fixed or are not sufficient.

Mia Khalifa or no buy.

It is annoying that despite my fast internet connection the bnet launcher fluctuates between 11 mbps and 50 kbs. To be honest though we need another patch because the shortage of raw hide wasn’t addressed.

It’s killing the enjoyment of the game when I have a surplus of every legendary material but not a basic material. Come on Bliz!
