Can you please add the Paladin from Diablo 2 or Crusader back into the game. Feels bad that Barbarians still can’t use shields even. Even Diablo Immortal has gotten more interesting class choices for the 2 new classes then what I’ve seen with Diablo 4 thus far. Don’t get me wrong was awesome to bring back Druid again and love that class also. Just don’t understand I guess how Immortal can have cool class designs and D4 get crapped on. Also what is with some classes transmogs always looking way better on females then males especially for Sorcerer?

New class > old revisited class. I have a feelng expac #2 will have a knight archetype, or as soon as we enter the regions of Khanduras.
I will rather like some martial art fighter, like old monk or old assassin combat mode. It’s quite satisfacting to crush deamon with our bare hands and kicks.

Well… I mean… D:I has been out an extra year. D4 has only been out a little more than year, since it came out June of last year. D4 is getting a new class in October. So, D4 is basically on the same release schedule as D:I, in terms of new classes… a playable class every year.

Ron has been very clear that they aren’t looking to release anything old quite yet.

I think we did a really great job with our 5 classes to again look to playstyles and respecting the past, and so what I’m really looking forward to is more new things. I think a lot of people keep going back to “oh, I want to see this thing you did from a previous game or this thing from a previous game” and I’m really looking at it like… where can we take it… different? Like, what can we do new in the Diablo space as opposed to only pulling from the past?
Ron is very adamant that they try to bring new things in for a bit before they even think about bringing old characters back. They’ve already indicated they want expansions to be annually. Which means if a “light/holy” class ever does come, it will be a year or two out, with one of the expansions. We aren’t going to be getting one soon. People just need to calm down. They know the demand is real. They know people want other older classes back, but they wont be giving any of them to us any time soon.
They need to use Guile’s theme goes with everything when they do the paladin reveal trailer.
They already went over this, they wanted something new instead of using all familar classes. There will be multiple expansions.

100% support. Omission of Paladin at release and again with first expansion is a major oversight with this Dev team. In fact, this is backwards design in my opinion.
Start with the classic, fan favorites and then add in your new class take on the IP with the expansions. Paladin should be in every single Diablo at launch from here on out.
I disagree, Paladin is boring, yep with light spells against darkness… so boring… and a shield… damn it’s even more boring…
I even think it’s the least played class in every Diablos.

These paladin beggars are more annoying than triune worshippers, its over, no more paladins, their orders are gone and the crusaders serve mephisto trough zakarum.
No way! Too many Christianity influences from those classes. Blizzterd doesn’t want to offend modern audiences.
They’ve been working on two expansions since launch and said they are planning on annual expansions so probably.
The only thing that has me cautious about an expansion #2 is that D3 was apparently going to get one and then they canned it.
They aren’t the same kind of service though. And Diablo 3 isn’t monetized like every Blizzard game that hasn’t been left to die.
