I saw a youtube video by some guy that thinks the new class has a soulstone in it’s forehead. Blizzard made a qoute “The new class is a wanderer.” Seems far fetched to me but not out of the question.
What would a Wanderer … do?
Turn into a demon or has demon powers. The guy in the video said the silhouette of the new class has a blue/purple glow in it’s hood and on it’s arm. It all sounds far fetched to me. The guy was suggesting it’s diablo’s soulstone I don’t think it would be that.
I think a class that willingly places soulstones with demon’s essences into their foreheads and gains powers from it sounds really really really far fetched but not impossible.
I suppose not though The Dark Wanderer wouldn’t really be a “hero” type. So while it’s cool in theory that’s like playing Leah and dying at the end. I mean even the protag drinking Lilith’s Blood is a bit of a stretch on the whole sanity thing.

Wanderer is name given to D4 protagonist. Every hero is a wanderer. The barb, sorc, rogue, all of them. But there is no wanderer hero with wanderer core skills and such. This doesnt exist and never will.
The other hero with expansion is oracle. We know its a Willpower hero and it all fits. Its oracle. Im 100% sure with 100% margin for error.

The new class has it’s hand gesture the way the oracle holds a floating orb. So that makes me think oracle. But this random guy on youtube coming out with a crazy theory is cool too.
Everyone is a wanderer… it was a jest on their part. Seems to have worked

Yeah pretty sure they alluded to the spiritborn and paladin being “wanderers” when people tried to find out what the new class for the time would be. Indeed, People are still taking the bait and running with it

Look little miss, I saw a video where a guy theorized that the purple glow in the new classes hood and arm could be a soulstone glare. I thought it was very far fetched but an interesting theory. So I came to the forums to share with my little buddies here.
You enter the thread and say “Looks like it worked.” While putting cool sunglasses on and hearing saxophone music in the background while you do so.
It probably is just oracle and not something so far fetched as a class that willingly places soulstones in it’s forehead to control demon essences but if it does in fact turn out to be something as far fetched and abstract as that you will be lowering your sunglasses and going “Ahem…hmmm…clears throat hmmm ahem”.
We will find out when it is annnounced.
