The new blood knight class was announced for Diablo immortal mobile game. It will be released on july 13, all of us will get to play it for free. Looks damn awesome to be honest, a heavy armor vampire knight, kinda reminds me of Legacy of Kain series.
But for pc/console: Crusader was released in a paid expansion for D3. And who will bet that any new class for D4 will also be paid?No shako for you 
The Crusader was a part of RoS Expansion.
The Necromancer was the paid DLC.
Reaper of souls wasn’t free. It cost $30.
Rise of the necro was $10.

Seems like you don’t understand how monetization works in video games. That’s ok. Have fun with your free Blood Knight that incentivize you to pay for dozens of P2W microtransactions.
class is free but it would take like $500,000 to fully upgrade it so i guess if you got the money to throw at blizz go for it
They finally got the game to a decent place. They are doing the same thing with d4. How long ago was DI released? I just played it, its totally different from when it first was.
I don’t like DI. I’m in the same boat, as a fellow pc/console player. We paid $70 for this game and D3 expansions, just to fund free development for a mobile game many of us didn’t want. Meanwhile many qol fixes are still needed in D4. And i’m 100% sure we won’t be getting a free class, it will be paid again as usual.
Or maybe it is the opposite.
I am quite confident DI is more than capable of funding itself and leading to some net benefit for Blizz to work on D4 (and put money in Bobby’s pocket).
New classes in D4 will be part of paid expansions for sure. Nothing wrong with it.
There is a lot to be said about monetization in D4, but Classes being locked behind the expansions paywall is not really a big deal, we would pay for the expansion to get the content anyways…
