As the title states, for my second S2 character, barb or sorc? I’ve only messed around with a barb for a few hours on eternal but really dont know much about… Ive played a bit of sorc on eternal.
-Thinking either the ball lightning sorc that I see everywhere, or a companion build.
-Not sure what is good or fun for Barb at this point. I don’t want to do an overpower build (first char was pulverize druid).
Thoughts?
People seem to have fun with a Sorcerer and there are a lot of them in the game. I haven’t seen many barbs in the game, and they are not that powerful. Leveling is also very slow for a barb. I would go with a Sorcerer.
Sorc. With those lightning balls. Barb is bad in this season.
Waiting for S3.
I’m playing frenzy/thorns barb with leap. It’s a blast and I can solo bosses 20 levels higher than me. Barb is definitely viable this season. It’s not the fastest clearer, but it does just fine. I think wudijo just put out a double swing barb video if you need some inspiration.
I love my Frost Sorc, it was my first character and was so much fun when the game was challenging.
But Barb is my new favorite character. I used to think it was a class for dummies that like to just spin around, but there is so much more you can do with it. And if you want you can spin around too.
