Diablo Can we have a black dye, maybe in cosmetic shop or something. I beg you, it would fit the theme of the game, or even just some more dark or gritty colors. Please

Honestly, I don’t understand why there are so many dye limitations. Would be cool to have more colors / combinations or just let us dye armor regions as we want individually.

I believe you want something really, really black, pitch black… like a Darth Vader cape, is that it?
You would loose the details of the armour, but yeah… could be cool, brings me some cool ideas for dressing my Rogue or Sorcerer.
yea, i can somewhat agree. i mean so far i could get some nice transmog combinations running, but id for sure prefer it if i could colour every armor part.
I doubt thatll ever happen tho. Id assume thats a rather “big” change?
Yeah, probably would be a big “change” that would need happen. One can dream would be cool to have it though.

This will probably get expanded eventually, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they package a couple dye colors with the expansion and use that to prime people for the idea of buying dye colors in the shop. I hope they don’t decide to gouge the playerbase for it, but it’s more or less what I expect. 
Same here, I was surprised by the lack of dye options.
I think what we have now is grey, not black. Black like the windows command exe.

I do miss my Ultima Online dye tubs. Black dye, special dye, leather dye, furniture dye… and that was 25 years ago.

Funny thing is, that wasn’t even intended to be in the game. It was an exploit from a long time ago that allowed tubs to be dyed black.
I think they made it an official color some time after UO:R but I quit prior to that.

they are going to add more… they stated it in the live stream.
For now, the big change was the itemization.
Agreed. SWTOR has a far better dye system and is a much older game. It wouldn’t be that hard to implement.

Would also love cooler dyes, but maybe they are afraid that it messes with the artistic vibe of the game? Imagine a neon-orange vibrant house in a mountain village in europe. That’d look quite disgusting and destroy the landscape image Maybe that’s something they consider with player cosmetics
Don’t we already have orange as a color though? Definitely get what you’re saying.
I think it would be cool if I could dye my horse’s saddle too, but that is definitely not why I play Diablo! I am sure they could expand the color palettes without “breaking” them. Maybe some neat metallics or special colors for beating the Uber bosses somehow.
