Nerfs coming in season 1, has me thinking

The game for me is super duper unfun, like depressingly mundane and sooooo Unrewarding.

When they nerf all the classes, what exactly will be left, Okay, I know they spent like 8 years working on season 1 and put a lot of thought into the “it took 10 seconds gem idea” that is probably going to give like a year’s worth of gameplay in ONE SEASON! They Might not even have to make another season, maybe just put it on repeat because it really looks so fulfilling. Oh Darn it, NVM I heard a rumor that Season 2 is called Revenge of the Stash Tabs. They are adding individual rows to the in-game store, and you have to gamble to see if you get a fake tab or a real one. It has an immortal vibe, according to the banks.

Anyways, sarcasm aside, if you gut the classes, which, let’s not lie, you were going to anyways, you don’t have to hide behind fake pandering nonsense about nerfing, buffing, and balance; you need to nerf them so the goofy gems feel powerful and players will get more than 8 hours of confusing gameplay that tortures them for trying out new builds, but relies on players trying out new builds, but punishes them, but they have to, but they get punished, a real Identity crisis, and not a fake one, Ask the doorknob to solve this one because this tug-of-war had to go to college to get this stupid.

So, tldr, once you nerf, what will you have left? sandpaper slides at playgrounds.

Alright so im going to end with a joke since this post has been kind of dry.

Why did Blizzard Move their headquarters across the road?

… So they could NERF the other side!

Alright, if this post doesnt get deleted or i dont get suspended cya tommorow.

If you’re talking about sorc, they can’t gut that which is already dead.

Almost a GoT quote. But pretty sure gutting is always done after death.

I don’t mind slight nerfs per se. It’s when they nerf the only viable build that the situation is wrong, especially when they don’t even buff the other skills in any significant way.

So far though, they went really heavy with the nerf bat / hammer, and usually spoon feed us buffs. A 3-5% buff to a still unuseable skill doesn’t compensate for the huge 20-50% nerf they could do to another skill.

As I said though, balance is bound to be fluid, and I don’t mind nerfs before a season per se. Still, even with a potential nerf, a post-nerf character using a particular skill with almost perfect gear must be able to clear whatever content it cleared before. Otherwise, it’s too much of a nerf.

Sadl, usually, Blizzard tends to go too far when it comes to nerf, so it’s bound to make some people unhappy. If they’re trigger happy with nerfs, we could end up with almost no builds capable of clearing Uber Lilith or NM100.

Without nerfs this game would have even worse power creep than d3 within a couple seasons.
The real problem is that they keep nerfing the wrong things.

wow, was too obvious 6 days ago i guess, too bad the lottery isnt this obvious.

Now i wonder how badly they are going to lie, whimper, and BS us with the campfire chat.

Would be nice if they just come out and admit they messed up and stick to their word on how they will fix it. But they won’t; they will pander, dance and dodge every real issue and just mock us with goofy answers to questions nobody asked.

Wonder if they will bring a sorcerer and spit roast it live.
