Hear me out, the whole point of the game is to cast skills in order to kill the bad guys and get a drop of dopamine. Nerfing starlight (mana for healing) directly means less casting.
I just read the ptr patch notes and learned Starlight will function at half efficiency. I have eight level 100 characters, representing hundreds of hours of time and effort. Five of my eternal builds use starlight to function. I play eternal more than seasonal, I play it cause it’s supposed to change less. Blizzard intends to leave more than half of my hard work gut torn and non functional.

This is one of the only ways Axial Conduit Chain Lightning builds dont feel like crap to play as well.

It is also the only way to combat Lucion/Unbridled Rage Fury Costs mixed with Invigorating Fury with perfect Tempers. There isn’t much time left in the Season, why do they feel the urgent need for stupid needless changes?

No one uses Starlight aspect before Season 5. Now so many people are complaining it got nerf for Season 6.

Took care of my own build with fist of fate GA lucky and one lucky hit primary restore resource rolled to gold on my sword which is doubled because of my gold axial conduit GA and crit on max mana and mana generation. Saved an aspect and 500 mana total with locran talisman! I love theorizing stuff!

I found those lucky hit chance to restore resource affixes extremely unrelible. Even with a large amount of luck. Did you calculate out your chance to proc it? When I did, it was like 5.5% chance, maybe even lower if I remember right.
Chain lightning hits so many enemies it works for me so far. I get about 75-80% mana from is why. Its not godlike just different way.
Id have to drop locran talisman to use starlighter. Which i could do with god tier devour blaze amulet maybe
Locran gives me 80% x crit multi though and 40% crit chance and massive crit dmg
500 mana
I won’t remind you about the epic howl of the Sorcs when Blizzard removed CDR from focus.
and how did it end?
none of those who raised that howl saw the new version of Harlequin Crest…
Wait to see all changes.
but we will have less mana and health and stuff in S6 so maybe it wont be so bad? maybe.

I don’t understand where you determined that from. If you were previously doing your healing at max health, then it’s way more than a 50% nerf and if you weren’t then it isn’t a nerf at all. The only way it could even be half efficiency is if you were previously doing half your healing at max health and half below.
But also, they made it so that all healing now overheals, and they are changing all the numbers on life and item stats. So we have not idea how easy it will be to get healing in S6. For example, if they left the healing numbers the same, then the reduced health (which looks like at least a 90% reduction) and the automatic overheating would mean that you are getting the same amount of resource at max life and like 10x the resource whenever you actually need to heal.
Well, that’s even worse news. Ummm thank you?!??
I didn’t use starlight aspect but getting +9 and +6 mana on armor and boots, when synergizes with Axial Conduit, Conjuration Mastery and Enhanced Ice Armor, is reaching to 140 mana persecond.

That’s what the playerbase wants, yes.
But blizzard does not like fun, Fun detected = Fun removed

Having less of everything will make it better right?! right?!?
And how many players have a focus vs how many have harlequin crest. Go visit your mental health practitioner and ask for an increased dosage of your prescription meds. The ultra strong ones.
Did you think they were just going to toss the gameplay loop of “build resource, dump resource” just like that without some push back?
Blizzard is obsessed with that gameplay loop, they don’t care how it doesn’t work in 99% of games. It worked in WoW… AND GOD _____ IT YOU’RE GONNA LIKE WHERE THEY PUT IT OR THEIR FANBOYS ARE GOING TO TELL YOU WHERE TO GO!
That makes no sense. The trigger for the thing to give resource back is based on a percentage. That’s just not how percentages work, my friend.
